This was my first and last lunch in Punta Gorda. Always loved coming here for quick service, large helpings, the best stewed beans in town, and always a smile from Ms. Joycln. I highlighy recommend!

Joycln can cook. See really took care of our team when we visited PG. She cooked it all, boxed it all up, and delivered to the arena for us(we had a long, overtime game). We had jerk chicken and BBQ chicken, and both were great. We'll definitely be calling her again.

This small restaurant with a new back porch on the water at Punta Gorda has great food. The jerk chicken was prepared just for us by Joclyn when we missed it the first day. She really knows how to grill snapper as well. We had really great meals here three times and loved every bite. Nice place to meet fellow... More

Joycelys' Cusine is just a shack on the Caribbean with a recently added back deck and more seating. But the food is outstanding. Joycelyn is outgoing and personable. Like many fresh food restaurants in the area the menu is limited, but always fresh. We missed her jerk chicken one day and she made it just for us the next evening.... More

What a great location, right in front of the pier, and it's where a lot of locals eat. Always a good sign to me. When I got there I placed my order, being next to the sea, with fish of course. Joycelyn told me it would take 10 minutes which was fine, nobody was chasing me. I told her I... More

I liked the portions, the taste & the cost. Not really a dislike, but she would accommodate more customers if she was inside a building. Eating outside is chic...eating area is right next to the road & across the street from the Texaco gas station.

Joyclyn serves up fantastic local dishes, all freshly cooked in her shack located right next to the municipal dock overlooking the Gulf of Honduras. Offerings include fried fish; jerk chicken and jerk or baked pork. Dishes are served with delicious sides such a rice and beans or homemade potato salad or coleslaw, all for less than $5 US. Right at the municipal dock with a great view over the Bay of Hunduras Joyclyn's serves authentic Belizean food for a great price that is sure to please. I eat here whenever I can when in PG for lunch. Her food is always cooked fresh and served with a smile. Definite plus that you can sit under the tropical almond... More

Joycelyn runs this shack, with a couple of chairs to sit on. She cooks delicious and authentic food, serves it hot and fresh for next to nothing. Right next to the jetty where you wat for boats. awesome.

The review that led me to Joyclyns was right on! She is a good cook and a very nice lady from Chicago for sure. But there were a couple of surprises that I didn’t expect. One: Real metal utensils! No plastic spoon as you might expect at a busy little establishment like this. Two: Real china! No Styrofoam containers or... More
