Great Seafood. Eat Mire Lionfish.

After a long day at the Chocolate Festival our taxi driver Bo brought us to Asha's. Sweet Belizean atmosphere over the water. The Lionfish filets were great. And my favorite Sweet Belize Coleslaw. Great mix of locals and expats enjoying great food.

We were here in may, during the slow season. After trying out the restaurant on the first night, we decided to eat there during our complete stay. We tried different fish each night, all of them were prepared really good and tasty! Looking forward to come back someday during the lobster season!

Asha's has the best food in Punta Gorda. I had several seafood dishes and they where all fresly prepared and delicious. The location cannot be beat as you overlook views of Guatemala and Honduras, prices are very reasonable.

We visited this place once and enjoyed the food and the service! At Ashas you can order local Belizian dishes. They offer various fish and meat, as some vegetarian dishes. The choice varies daily. The place is located over the ocean and you can feel the ocean breeze and see the waves under you. Ashas provide catering, too.

Especially great for seafood and desserts. Beautiful place at the water and the owner is very nice (like any place in PG, really)

It was late, we weren't hungry but we wanted a drink and a snack before retiring for the night. Ordered fried plantain, which I love, and a couple of drinks. Only one other person was there at the time so it was very peaceful and quiet. We finished our drinks and snack, waited for the sun to set and headed... More

We had two nights in Punta Gorda and spent them both at Asha's. Our family ordered a bunch of stuff both nights and I tried it all. It was really fresh and well prepared. I wouldn't recommend anywhere else, honestly. It does take a while to prepare the food (it's fresh!) so just plan accordingly. Sit outside and enjoy the... More

I LOVE this place! They have a wonderful menu of fresh seafood prepared with flavor and love. The selection of seafood is great with more sides selections than you know what to do with. If it weren't for the 30 minute bike ride into PG, I would seriously just eat here every night. But say you don't really care for... More

Definitely the place to go if you are in Punta Gorda. Asha's has a nice selection of seafood. They recommend getting the lionfish, which is not a native species to the area and has multiplied out of control because of a lack of natural predators. It came with mashed potatoes in the shape of a heart (because Asha makes everything... More

Even though the seafood options were a bit more expensive, they were delicious! You also get two sides and there are a lot of options. The service was a bit slow, but I didn't mind because you could tell it was made carefully and came out so tasty. I would recommend this to anyone traveling to Punta Gorda who wants... More
