Fresh meals are cooked to order with sustainably caught seafood; fish are often caught by Asha (the owner/head chef) himself. Open kitchen serves hearty dishes prepared with healthy ingredients.Listen to various styles of live music – including Creole and Garifuna drumming, Mayan marimba, and international performances – all while enjoying the Caribbean sea breeze with a view of the Guatemala highlands from across the bay.Exceptional service and competitive prices. Business practices are very environmentally friendly. Marine tours, sustainable-fishing classes, sunset-booze cruises, and cooking lessons are available. Worth a visit!

If you are ever in Punta Gorda, Asha's is certainly worth a visit. The combination of good food, beautiful views and friendly staff are a recipe for a memorable dining experience. The mantra is "home away from home" and the comfort and ease of the vibes at Asha's serves up that feeling. This was my... read more

I love going to Punta Gorda but I especially love having a great meal at Asha's Culture Kitchen. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the food is always delicious. My most recent stay I enjoyed dining on lion fish fingers, callaloo and garlic mashed potatoes. The lobster is always a great choice. Be sure to check out the... More

A little hard to find despite all the signage in town, but absolutely amazing. The service, the views, the location, and most of all the food. We had conch, lionfish and plantains that will make my mouth water for months to come. (And don't skip the homemade cake!)

We had the fish fillet with ginger rice which was excellent. Washed it down with a couple of ice cold el presidente beers. Beautiful view over looking the Gulf of Honduras.

Lobster tail was good. The drink named the touch was delicious. The restaurant was empty and prices were a bit higher than we have seen at other places

We went here on the advice of a local and found the fish to be excellent. We had fried Lion Fish and grilled grouper with sides of fried plantains, yams, and coconut rice. All the food was very fresh and Asha was a very nice and passionate chef. The prices are Avery reasonable but slightly higher than some other restaurants.... More

I was truly amazed. Now coming from Canada, some might consider my exposure to seafood as being somewhat limited. But I have always been a person that jumped at any opportunity to try something new. Especially something different than our normal western cuisine. But today I enjoyed a seafood dish that I can assure any of my family and friends... More
