Had a very tasty meal here and good service. We arrived around 8.15 and the kitchen was closed (think people here eat early) but they still nicely made a meal for us. I had the lionfish curry and it was really lovely. It has a really nice authentic caribbean setting and aren't shabby like many around. They also take great... More

The food was just okay....the coconut rice had a spoiled taste, no one at our table ate the rice. We ordered the lobster which was not very good and expensive. Also, only foreigners seem to eat there, never saw a local eating there. They advertise if you don't like the food, you don't pay for it....but as a tourist, I... More

Lovely place; high quality food, casual setting. Sometimes out of things, so ask first if you have your heart set on anything.

The food is local sea-food and fresh veggies. Ask the cooks what they eat / recommend. The staff was super friendly and they create a nice atmosphere. The front of the restaurant is built over the water... a perfect setting. It's worth the extra money if you've been wanting fresh veggies and local catch in PG.

This was maybe my 10th time going to Asha's. I originally found it when it was about a block from Gomier's, and that's when I fell in love with this place. The same atmosphere and positive energy followed the endeavor to their new waterfront location, where you can see lights from both Guatemala and Honduras on a clear night. A... More

I have traveled throughout most of Belize on 5 different vacations, and I can say without a doubt the food highlight of every trip is Asha's! It's worth a trip south to PG just for the food and atmosphere! Especially when there are local musicians, the

After 10 work days we visit this great place and enjoy the creole and curry food. We'll be back in a few hours to enjoy the music too.

I came here my first night in Punta Gorda and have eaten dinner here every night since! Not only does the staff make you feel completely at home, but the seafood is AMAZING! The best I've eaten in my life and I LOVE seafood! The owner, Asha, sustainably harvests the best of the local fish: lobster, barracuda, red snapper, and... More

The lionfish fingers and lionfish curry were really excellent, with fragrant rice and a delicious homemade coleslaw. Set right on the ocean, with live entertainment, Asha's is a must for anyone traveling to PG.
