The Restaurant open it's doors years back, but for over 2-3 years it's closed. The previous Owner Giovanni concentrates now on other businesses.

I visited here with a group of friends in April 2012. At first, the place seemed like it would be great: funky interior and exterior and a great starting dish of baba ganoush. However, the funky cool soon turned downright funky nasty. First, the bathrooms were a complete disaster. They stunk to high heavens, and there was no soap. When... More

The staff were uninterested and service was poor. The food was terrible. I ordered chicken curry with brown rice and got a small lump of undercooked white rice and a handful of curried chicken bones with next to no meat on them. One of my companions ordered the same and was served a chicken foot and a section of meatless... More

Likes: decor and design. Dislikes: No service to speak of. A 12 year old girl tried her best to run the front of restaurant and bar. No menu. We were told conch with rice and either curry or jerk sauce. Food was cold and tasteless. Difficult to get served a drink. Very unfriendly vibe. Several other people entered the bar/restaurant... Great atmosphere and food! One of the premier Garifuna drummers hangs out there, so we were treated to a drumming lesson when we went in for breakfast. The people are just incredibly friendly.

Not always open, but it is worth swinging by to find out. All of the restaurant and bar furniture have been made by the owner, Giovani, in his workshop outside of the restaurant. The atmosphere is very inviting as the walls are covered with local art, and the music is always chill. I believe there is live music on certain... More
