This bar is mid way between where the expats and tourists live, just north of the airstrip, so a great spot to meet both while enjoying jam sessions with local entertainment and some tourists who like to join in too! Fun place with cold beer, good pizza and other offering we love in bars. Cab from town is $5 and... More

Spotted this place out past the airport. Stopped in and had a great lunch. It feels like a little like a sports bar but it's fun and the owner will work to make you happy.

Apparently the name came when the owner, Patrick, told his Mom he planned to own a restaurant in the caribbean some day. She laughed and said "when pigs fly!" Glad Mom was wrong! We had lots of fun at Pluckology a regular tuesday night jam session! Food was great and drinks were cold! Perfect

This is an excellent place for evening entertainment. If you are looking for a reasonable price and good food it is a must. Whether it is lunch or dinner their portions are really large so be prepared you will not leave hungry. Their menu has good variety, and every time we ate their it was great. The staff and owner... The Pig has the best French fries on the peninsula, hands down, and maybe in the whole country! They are freshly cut, and Patrick puts them through a whole process before he fries them up and serves them. You won't find any better! The pizza is also pretty hard to beat.

Patrick is the owner and he always makes sure to say hi to all of his patrons. The meals are great and the Thursday night Pasta night was really awesome. Was a great, friendly place to go.

We love coming to The Pig for happy hour, dinner, to grab a drink and chat with Patrick, and to enjoy an "Adam&Eve" pizza with shrimp-feta-kalamata olives and the special sauce. There is always good music playing at the bar, and Tuesday night live jam is not to miss. Great spot, can't wait to be back!

The last two years that we have vacationed in Placencia, we have made several visits to The Flying Pig. It's a great place for a good meal and an even better place to meet locals and just have a great time. The owner is THE best. We will go back every time we are in Placencia. I would recommend everyone... More

My daughter and I went there on open mic night and the singing and music playing was great. They even let my daughter get up there and sing three songs and one she sang a second time, as the crowd liked it so much, only the second time it was in Japanese.

To say that this food is delicious is an understatement! We went on Wednesday night for BZ $1 wings and they were fantastic! The flavors were so good that I felt like I was eating my grandmother's special fried chicken! Patrick the owner is an amazingly nice man who actually sat at our table with us while we ate and...
