We stopped because we wanted to try the Mexican Food. Very small portions of chicken mole and taco salad. The Chicken Mole was less than half an inch thick and overcooked. The sauce was lukewarm and pretty tasteless. I asked why the portions were so small and the manager waiter said that the chickens are small, what can I do?... More

The food is delicious... The service is super good. A guy named Devin longsworth, has amazing skills he did my daughters name out of caramel and sent it us. He is such an amazing cook, and definitely a gentleman. He so deserves a tip!

This was our third time to Habaneros. We enjoy the marina view on the lagoon side of the peninsula, and on very windy days, the breeze is much calmer here. My father had the chicken fajitas and said they were the best he has ever had. I tried them and thought they were good. I had the tequila cilantro chicken... More

The food was only average - nothing special. The view was nice of the Roberts Grove Marina. The chef who was so helpful to me was fired later on the night that I was there which left a sour taste in my mouth. I also got an iced cappucino there one morning and it tasted awful. They used boxed "Lala... More

Went here with a group of 8. Ordered Shrimp for 30 dollars US. 12 shrimp arrived, after 45 minutes they were the smallest shrimp I have ever been served. My husband ordered pulled pork that was so spicy it was inedible. The fajitas our friends ordered were better. Overall mediocre and overpriced but nice ambience.

My husband and I wanted a snack, and stopped by here in the middle of the afternoon. When we inquired about ceviche, the staff went out of their way to accommodate us. Nice outdoor seating to watch the boats coming and going. Pleasant and restful.

We enjoyed our meal at Habanero - especially liked the Mexican buffet night. Lots of fresh and well-prepared food, and the chef, Hector, was delightful. We thought the entrance with the "tacky plastic illuminated cactus" was hilarious. A nice change if you don't want to go all the way to town (Placentia).

Finally found Pork Pibil, and it was very good. Nice size portions and very flavorful. We also had the Chicken Mole dish which was also very good. We had the ice tea also was refreshing to sit and overlook the lagoon and docks.

I write this so you don't have to experience this place. After eating at every well rated place in the village we decided to head north based on a recommendation from someone at our resort. Yes the tacky plasticky illuminated cacti should have been a sign but we went in anyway. Big mistake. It's located at their marina so seeing... More
