BBQ to die for!

I would ride my bicycle past everyday to see what the special was that day. I ordered one for lunch and one for dinner. Seriously, best BBQ EVER!

Last night we went to Dawns Grill. The food was amazing, and our waitress Jolee did an amazing job at getting our order just right. (The people beside us were giving her a hard time but she handled that really well). Love the food, and the hot sauce is the bomb.com

Dawn's is one of the best places to eat in Placencia Village. The owner herself (Dawn) is usually on hand for breakfast, lunch and supper, sometimes even does the cooking. This food is fresh, and tastes like home cooking only better. Dawn's prices are very reasonable for the quality of food she prepares. I would strongly recommend this tiny restaurant... More

Unfortunately we ate here on our last night in Placencia...otherwise we would have eaten here every night! The food is AMAZING. The lobster tail we had was huge..at least 8oz. Flavors were delicious, service was wonderful and the price can't be beat!

Very friendly good service. The special quesadilla was fantastic. Even though it is right on the road the trade offs are worth it.

The beans with the breakfast special are world class. Was only able to eat breakfast there twice and will certainly return. Excellent food, service and Dawn is a sweetheart to talk with.

We enjoy the local Belizean cuisine in the area. Dawn makes you feel like one of the family personally and with fresh home cooking.

Really great lunch of BBQ ribs and chicken with tortilla, beans and coleslaw. Belekin beer and a good Chilean Merlot. Highly recommended.

Easy to find of the "main road." :) My husband & I stopped for lunch one day. We had the special - lobster & coconut rice. It was really good! This may have been the most reasonably priced food, good food, that we had during our 5 days stay in Palencia. Dawn & her staff are very friendly & attentive.... More

we had breakfast and lunch here and have been happy and enjoyed the food very much, the atmosphere is very quiet and relaxed and the waitress and owner are always there to help with your choice of food and other questions you may have about the Placencia!
