The Pickled Parrot is a thatched roof restaurant and bar mere footsteps from the crashing surf of the Carribean. We have delicious blender drinks, rum concoctions and ice cold Belikin Beer. Our food is home cooked style comfort food, made from fresh organic ingredients. We specialize in hand-cut french fries, burgers, chicken cheesesteaks, and Philly cheesesteaks. Our popular everyday option is a fresh large salad topped with shrimp, chicken breast or ribeye steak. Special diets are easily accomadated. Portions are ample and prices are low. Nice place with good live music

We hit this place in the evening to listen to some live music. The female singer had an amazing soulful voice and was amazing covering every kind of song. The bar was a bit short on inventory though. They couldn't make more than half the drinks on their menu and had a limited food menu. The owner... read more

We visited Placencia and luckily stopped by the Pickled Parrot for lunch on our very first day. After some killer fish and chips at a ridiculously reasonable price, we met Eugene and Lynn! These two owners are some of the warmest people you'll meet during your stay. They treat customers like family, are wonderful hosts, have the friendliest staff, and... More

It was a hot day when I stopped by. I was staying in Maya Beach and wanted to see Placencia Village. I was drenched in sweat (TMI, sorry) and wanted to come here to cool off and because the owners were from New Jersey, where I live. I love that they have daily specials. It's a really cool bar/restaurant and... More

Lynn & Eugene Upham treated us like family. It's an open air bar/bistro/pub that serves mixed drinks, cocktails, beer and food. Their daily food specials are low priced and good but they run out quickly ( you can ask ahead and they will reserve a plate for you!). The Pickled Parrot is smaller than some other drinking places but it's... More

We went one night and we're totally turned off! Owner was drunk, stumbling around, yelling at staff to help people, instead of helping out. We waited 15 minutes to be waited on and watched others sit without drinks for about the same time. Place is unclean with a hooky setup. Owner gave guests menus from other restaurants to order from... More

For large groups call or drop in and let them no your coming. Limited specials each nite. Great waiters and great atmosphere . Jam nite is very busy and go early. We enjoyed it so much! Can't wait to return .

This place is amazing. Between the fresh juice cocktails and their dogs, you will not leave unhappy. Try the panty raider (pineapple juice and white rum) it's great!

I really enjoyed the Pickled Parrot Bar and Restaurant and the owners Eugene and Lynn. They have a $10 Belize meal everyday which is always great.. Drinks were good, bartenders Pedro and Kareem are lots of fun. Fun place to sit , enjoy , and relieve the stress of Placensia, of which there is none. We had a lot of... More

Eugene and Lynn make it seem like you are visiting them in their home. It is bar food but quick and good. Bartenders make sure your drinks are always full. Trivia night on Thursday is a lot of fun. Spent a lot of time there - all of it great!
