Extremely slow service and mediocre food at best

Don't go here for the food. If you need to get out of the sun, it's an ok place to cool off. Breezy and comfortable. The food, however, is extremely pricey and below average in taste. We had the fish and chips and the fish tacos. The French fries were limp and some were not even fully cooked. The... read more

We were taken to Rumfish y Vino by our lovely hosts. Everything on the menu sounded so delicious that it was difficult for me to commit. I ordered the puttanesca and was completely impressed. The gigantic filets of fish served with this pasta dish were so fresh and well complimented by the perfectly cooked pasta and extra fresh veggies. I... More

Had dinner here on our first evening in Placencia. We arrived without a reservation - probably not a good idea because it's a popular place - but got a table quite quickly. The American owner came by the table to explain the dinner specials. Everything we had was good - flatbread pizza with spicy sausage, chicken etc - but there's... More

We had an excellent supper here but found it extremely expensive for the experience. Service was fast and good. Nothing to complain about except the cost.

We really enjoyed the ambiance, food and wait staff. The wine was good but very pricey as is the custom in Belize. We had a good view and fast service.

We stumbled on this restaurant whilst wandering around Placencia and what a find it was. Excellent food, a pleasant ambience and friendly/happy staff. Well worth a visit, or two.

We stooed bye for an early dinner and thoroughly enjoyed the cuisine. The menu was simple but elegant in scope. The ambience was Ok though unspectacular. All in all a nice dinner.

We just recently stayed two weeks in Plencecia I have been here once before a few years back and had a dish there that knocked our socks off ( pescado Veracruz) and so upon our arrival to this paradise of course we are going back to the restaurant that had made such a impression on my family. Our first night... More
