Very disappointing service - and the owners were the ones serving. They kept us waiting over an hour for food and never came by the table to tell us why (there was a group of 9 of us). If you can't handle 9 people at a table in a restaurant half-full you should at least offer a glass of wine... More

We ate here twice and it was the highlight of our time in Placencia. The food is beautifully prepared and the drinks are inventive. Service is friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!

We went to Rumfish y Vino the night before we set sail on our week long charter. The food was great (Lionfish sashimi was awesome) and the drinks were top notch as well. What isn't often talked about is the wine selection. The ex-pat owners are former restaurant and wine people. Ask Pamela for a wine recommendation and you won't... More

The food is excellent. I had the Lobster special and it was outstanding. The rest of my group all had different things and were all equally good.

Owner would "share anything" with you if just ask, unless you ask where you can buy fresh mint leaves. Then, not so much. That being said, the food was great. Shrimp cakes highly recommended, lobster balls were good, watermelon mojito was very good.

Perfect place for a fancier dinner on vacation. The labster and pasta were delicious, and their fruit infused rums made the mojitos perfect. Great outdoor area for eating, definitely worth the wait for a table.

Our food was good, and the service was faster than most of the other restaurants we visited while in Placencia. The manager visited us at our table and made sure we were enjoying our visit.

For my three-week stay in Placencia, based on reviews and local / expat reports, the best dining experience came down to choice between three candidates : Rumfish, Turtle Inn, Secret Garden. Rumfish took the price - wellrun, quality food and the best vibe (incl playlist) -though not exciting to the point that i actually remember what i ate.

Loved the food and the service was great. Fish stew was incredible. The most expensive place we ate in the village, but I am glad we did.
