The atmosphere here is just as good as the food and drink. It's one of the few places on the peninsula that has decent wine. This place is definitely on my return list.

Rumfish y Vino is certainly one of the most aesthetically pleasing places to eat in Placencia. With the openness, white wood, and good lighting, it is an Instagram dream. We went to Rumfish on the night of our anniversary, so our order was a little random as we were ordering instinctively because of all of the lovey-dovey staring into each... More

The locals told us this was one of the more expensive restaurants (which it is) but by U.S. standards, it is reasonably priced. The infused cocktails were a hit with our group. One person had the meat lasagna and devoured it. Another had the curry which was excellent as well. The food is fresh and flavorful. A good place for... More

Great experience, excellent food but the real gem was the outstanding bar tender. I had one of the best lime margarita on the rocks ever, and my wife had an amazing Mojito. The secret ingredient was shared and has really brought up my game at home.

I ahd the Lionfish and snapper with vegetables and coconut curry sauce. It was excellent, made a point of telling the manager, owner wasn't there and talking with the chef, a nice local young man. The drink service could have been better, but it is Belize.

Very accommodating with their menu, we wanted the dinner menu but it was lunch and the chef cook what we wanted , above average food wise for the location.

Went here for drinks and appetizers...Although the atmosphere was good with the balcony seating overlooking the main street of Placencia, I wouldn't say I loved it. The margaritas were actually good, but were very small and the hummus didn't have a lot of flavor! Maybe on a different night it would have been better!

Very disappointing service - and the owners were the ones serving. They kept us waiting over an hour for food and never came by the table to tell us why (there was a group of 9 of us). If you can't handle 9 people at a table in a restaurant half-full you should at least offer a glass of wine... More
