Pam and her husband are fantastic, the food and ambiance wonderful, and the service was perfect. After numerous trips to Placencia, we must hit RumFish several times.

This place was great. Neither my husband or I eat seafood so it’s great when we can find a place with other options…in a fishing village. I don’t think this is billed as an Italian restaurant, but WOW can they make great Italian food and we went for it. I had the Braised Short Rib Lasagna and my husband had... More

Our group of more than 20 met here for dinner before setting out on a week long sailing adventure from Placencia to San Pedro. They were able to accommodate us on short notice with relative ease - making reservations was certainly a must though. The food was very good, the drinks OK and the service good. I'd definitely go back... More

We visited Rumfish twice while in Placencia, once was for lunch and once for dessert later in the evening. Lunch was delicious, the ceviche was one of the best we had while in Belize. We also had the thai shrimp croquettes - they were amazing, I could have eaten them every day! For dessert we had the special which was... More

I really enjoyed Rumfish as a fancy treat for a father-daughter date night. The owner, John was very welcoming and seemed to be very knowledgeable about how a restaurant should be properly operated - I appreciated that. Their cocktails and appetizers were very nice and innovative. I find myself craving them and would return only for that. The restaurant has... More

Nice restaurant with good food and atmosphere. The restaurant is on the second floor which gives the open air terrace dining a nice touch. The red curry snapper and fish stew were great. NIce bar with good drinks. The owners are expats from the New York area who are on site nightly.

Such good food here!!! We sampled their Italian the first night with a flatbread and lasagna and it was some of the best we've ever eaten. The next night we decided on appies and dessert and it was just as good! Highly recommend the lionfish crudo and habanero chocolate dessert. The wine selection is also great. While it's a bit... This upstairs and upscale restaurant is quite the experience in Placencia. IO would rate it in the top 3 on the peninsula. Fresh seafood dishes, excellent service, awesome bar and cocktails and a fun place to spend the evening. And, the owner stops at every table to ask how everything was. Instant reviews, and he's a really nice guy.

We went here 3 nights in a row because the food and drinks were so bomb! There's nothing like it in all of Placencia. My girlfriend and I had our favorite drinks here in all of Belize. We loved the habanero laced drinks as well as the watermelon lemonade (?) with rum. Everything with rum here, seriously! Our waitresses were... More

This seemed to be one of the more popular restaurants in Placencia. It does have good food and drinks. It actually was not my favorite but my traveling companions would probably list it as one of their top 2.
