Rumfish y vino was highly recommended by our "friends" at the Turtle Inn...a charming indoor/outdoor atmosphere, pleasant staff, great menu, nice specials and outstanding food.

The Rumfish y Vino is an American owned restaurant. Despite this it is rather good. Service was very good. The local girls working our area of the restaurant were very polite and efficient. The food: I would say this was the best restaurant I visited in Belize (Placencia). There was local fish on the menu and several types to try... More

The food here is an A+. The service is similar to high end US restaurants. It's was super busy and bustling, but the food was worth the crowd.

Managed a half pound Lobster dinner for about $22. We couldn't help but spend some money at this classy place. One of the more expensive places in Placencia, it still beats anywhere in price in the US. The owner makes it a point to greet each guest personally with his specials. Another must see in town.

Excellent food. Professional staff. Good wine list. Not the place for families with kiddos. Balcony tables overlooking the street are charming. May need a reservation if you are in Placencia during the busy season.

OUr first night in Placencia we were exhausted, and the Rumfish is right next to the One World Rentals where we are staying. Wonderful specialty rum drinks, great seafood- conch ceviche was great, and the lobster out of this world! They also have live music some evenings. Prices are a bit high for the area, but the food was worth... More

The food here was exceptional. Interesting and creative options. We had a sashimi appetizer of Snook fish that was out of this world. The fish is locally caught and then they do interesting things with it. The hostess is very friendly and engaging. The room is cheerful and open. Overall our best dining experience in Belize.
