Slightly off the beaten track at the southern end of the bay, this is a pleasant place to visit for a quieter lunch and swim in their lovely pool. I've never stayed there, so I can only rate the food and the ambience, but I've visited a few times now and not been disappointed. It's nice to get the chance... More

I can no longer sit back and hear that folks I know that have stayed there, relay to me comments made derogatory to me or the properties I represent. I will not longer recommend this facility to visitors.

Since my glowing review in 2013, Felipe the chef is no longer there and has not been replaced. Winston tends bar and signs in the guests and he is a joy. Lynn, the owner, is a decent cook and a really nice woman, but not the exceptional chef that Felipe was. So I am sorry to say that the food... More

The food was very good at the Almond Tree. Full service bar. The prices were close to what you would pay in the states.

The Chef's night off, the owner Lynn opened the restaurant just for the two of us. I had a heaping portion of Shrimp Alfredo, which was delicious. My wife ordered a grilled cheese sandwich, which Lynn said was burnt. It was. Why serve it if you know it's not good? Anyway go with the signature dishes and you will be... More

We went to the Almond Tree Restaurant this Valentines Day which also happened to be our 2nd wedding anniversary. The food was excellent and fresh and the grounds are gorgeous. As with most places in Belize, there was a dog that wandered in and out but he was friendly and added to the charm. We ordered the Cordon Bleu and... More

We were taking some good friends out for supper and asked them to chose a place to eat. They picked the Almond tree restaurant and we are glad they did. The location on the water and the grounds are beautiful to see. We sat outside and enjoyed a glass of wine while we chatted and took in the view. We... More

We liked everything about the restaurant. All dishes from garlic shrimp to coconut cream pie to omelet were excellent. Chef Felipe is a joy. Sea side setting is breezy and relaxing.

We had a chicken wrap and a beef wrap, both were good. The drinks were weak but they fixed that and all was well. The waiter was the cook and the "fillin" bartender because it's the start of their "off season". No one at the pool and we were the only people eating & drinking in the establishment. The check... Great food! It is a little out of the way for folks staying in "town" but worth the walk. They have a short menu but it is good! Very quaint! Nice very of the sea from the dining room. If you are in Corozal you must check it out!
