We had one breakfast here which was okay but we did not go back., we discovered pop's where we liked the breakfast more
This is THE hang out spot for backpackers in San Ignacio. Everyone will be there so if you're looking to pick up some buddies, this is the place to be. Sergio will help you out with tours and he's a gem. The food is decent, nothing fantastic, but you can get some traditional soups and a really nice breakfast since... More
We stayed 4 days in San Ignacio, before traveling to Ambergris Caye for 8 days. The first place we ate at in San Ignacio was Flayva's. Something about it, got our attention. Sergio, was the first to make our acquaintance. Such a friendly, funny, easy going and accommodating man. We absolutely loved him and the rest of his friendly staff.... More
this was an easy stop one evening and we had drinks and picked up food to go. Great service. Nice drinks. Nice People.
Right on Burns rd in the pedestrian section, they serve general touristy basics like burgers, nachos etc. The service was mediocre, the food was uninspiring, burger quite under cooked, jerk chicken was more salt than anything. We got into town and wasn't sure of our accommodations. Sergio at Flayvas was super helpful with tours and lodging. He let us use his phone and cleared our worries away. the food is decent and the service is quite exceptional. We got a discount for 2 tours. ATM caves are a must. Felt safe and relaxed at Flayvas.
Our very first meal on our two week trip to Belize was at Flayva's and they set the bar high for the rest of our trip. While the food was great, the reason it was one of the best meals I have ever had in a restaurant was because of the atmosphere. Great service, friendly people, and just a great... More
The same thing like all of the other restaurants in Belize. Beans and rice, stew chicken, chicken wings, nachos, burritos, fish dishes, etc... The only thing that really stood out for me was the chicken veggie soup. That was delicious!!! Other than that there wasn't really anything special about this restaurant. My husband got the pork chop dish, they were... More
