If you need a huge mountain of eggs and veggies stuffed into a fry jack, here's your place! Service was mediocre but it was just a young girl.

The breakfast here is delicious and relatively cheap. Right on the Main Street in San Ignacio with some outdoor seating. The fry jacks and fresh fruit plate were delicious, also has good coffee. In general, go here, not Maya Walk across the street.
Owner Mark is great. He was very helpful & attentive. Food wasn't great or amazing, it was good. I had the snapper with rice and beans. I found it to be a little pricey compared to other places in the area, but I would most likely go there again to give it another shot. Great location for people watching if...

We had breakfast/lunch at Flayva's & thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was fresh & service was attentive. Food did take a while to come out, but it was well worth it! The Fry Jack is recommended. You can also talk to Sergio there for local info or to book an excursion.
Flayva's is a friendly and laid-back bar/restaurant in San Ignacio town serving flavorful, fresh and well-prepared Belizean food. My husband and I ate there twice during our trip. We liked the fryjacks with stewed chicken, the yogurt and fruit (breakfast) with homemade granola, and the limeades - very refreshing on hot days. Food does not come out especially quick so...

Stumbled upon Flayva's on our drive from Belize City to Tikal. Found the owner Sergio to be a super nice chap. The food was great and surprisingly cheap. With a lot of beers (didn't count but def more than 3 each) plus entree and some other appetizers, it amounted to US$11/per person. To top it off the food was tasty...

Flayva's has a conventional Belizean menu and average prices. Its appeal is the prime location on San Ignacio's pedestrian precinct, and the charming staff. Gratuity 12.5% included. Review the bill carefully.
My friend and I walked in, we were welcomed nicely n offered the menu, the restaurant was pretty empty so we were expecting to be attended to fast enough, our food took over 30mins before we were served although we other chicken wings and rice and beans, as though this wasn't enough, while we were eating a local man walked...

We ended up at Flayva's often when we stayed in San Ignacio - the food is delicious and flavorful (and accommodating to vegetarians), and delivered with a smile.
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at Flayva's. My curry chicken was the best I have ever had. My hubby's sweet mango shrimp was awesome too. Our boys just about licked their plate clean...absolutely no leftovers!
Our waitress was friendly and helpful even though it was a busy time. The owner, Mark, stopped by several times to make...
