Driving thru town I decided to check out some of the local fare. I looked this place up on Trip advisor, and this one was intriguing. Everything from the name. The walls that have some slate are pieces crafted by local artist (they sell them), to the locals and tourist that stop in, this place looked great. Service, food, local... More

This is a wonderful neighborhood place right on the main drag (Burns Avenue). This is a typical open aired wooden shack with a few tables scattered around, exactly what you want on a hot and dusty day in San Ignacio. They have excellent Belizean food and killer Indian food. I had the vindaloo which is, as both the waitress and... More

Stopped for lunch on a Sunday since most other places were closed and was happy to have stumbled on this gem. Fresh fish rice and veggies were the special of the day. Cold drinks, local favorites (they offer a daily local specialty for $8 BZ Monday thru Friday), desserts and sweets. We tried a burger and fries and a grilled... More

Great Food. Swift service. The environment of the place was great, even being on Burns Avenue. I had some lamb for dinner one night. It was sooo good. I came back for a hearty breakfeast the morning I was hitchhiking south, and noticed they sell beef jerky too!!! Worthy a seconds.

We had dinner here during our first night in San Ignacio. We ordered simple rice and beans with chicken breast, and it was phenomenal. The chicken was tasty and cooked perfectly, and the rice and beans were delicious. We found the restaurant from our LonelyPlanet guide book, and the place was filled with other tourists too.

My husband and I came here for a late lunch and ordered Lamb ribs and ginger shrimp with mashed potatoes and steamed veggies. We both gobbled up our meals so fast we then ordered a beef burrito to share. We hadn't really eaten all day and the food was so well flavored and fresh you could taste it in each... More
