Yum!

The group that I came to Belize with had had rice and beans for many meals and it was a pleasant change when we came to cheers. We had spaghetti, limeade, and bread and as simple as that sounds, it was delicious and a nice change from eating the same stuff every day. They do also have other food... read more

I've not used one of their Cabañas, but I can testify that the food at Cheers is the best there is between Belize City and San Ignacio. Service is fast and friendly, presentation is delightful, and prices are reasonable. Choose anything from the menu and you won't be disappointed. From Belizean favourites to North American flavour, the menu is nicely... More

Great open-air restaurant right on the main highway. We ate here everyday and were never disappointed. Huge menu and great prices. They serve breakfast (all day), lunch and dinner. Service was friendly and attentive. Danish/Canadian owner on premises every day. The food is good and fresh!

We were hungry after a cave tubing tour and our guide sent us to Cheers (note: not one person we asked in Belize could give us a good restaurant recommendation IN Belmopan. Definitely stay on the outskirts for your dining if staying in the area). I don't know what got into me - I usually try to eat local fare,... More

We stopped at Cheers (Late January) for a late lunch and a beer before visiting the zoo based on trip advisor recommendations and we were not disappointed. I had stewed chicken that was amazing. My wife' enchilada was also great. We were debating whether or not we would make it to the zoo time but the service was lightening quick... More

I stopped here once by mistake on the way home from Belize City. I thought it was Amigos, which I had enjoyed several years ago. It was the best mistake I ever made. The food was excellent, as was the service. I didn't see the British Army, but there were groups of Central American visitors, Americans and Belizeans. It's all... More

Located close to the Manatee jungle training area this little roadside diner is frequented by British Army units conducting training in the jungle. The walls are covered in military plaques. The food is tasty and inexpensive costing $12 for a stacked burger (£4). They do great fruit juice as well.

Best service, good price. Nice management and a cool breeze to enjoy a Belikan with. Not fancy but a good value.

While not quite in the middle of nowhere, it seemed that way. Perfect place to stop on the drive from Belize City to Hopkins. Good variety of Americna food and Belizean fare. While I would go for the Super Chicken Tamales, my wife says go for the good old fashioned Hamburger. Good food for the money. Very nice covered outdoor... More
