This is a fun, well known and loved stop in Belize. Everyone knows the owner Chrissy and her Mom Anita. They've been serving up good food for over 13 some years. The restaurant is a covered, open-air pavilion. Signed tourist T-shirts hang from the ceilings, fans chase off the bugs, and there's a nice view of tropical plants in the... More

I have been coming to Cheers for years now, and must say it is arguably one of the best restaurants in Belize. The location is ideal if you're travelling the George Price Highway; roughly midway between Belize City and Belmopan (the capital). The managers and staff are always very courteous. Seating area is open air, and there are dozens of... More

If you have a vehicle rental and visit the zoo this is a great option for a place to eat before or after.

Home cooking that is! We had the amazing good fortune to spend 12 days in Belize, including 2 days at the wonderful Savanna Guest House near the Belize Zoo. Our hosts recommended us to take our evening meals at Cheers. Upon arrival at Cheers, we were served, by a young local woman, order taken with enough care and detailed specification... More

The outdoor setting is always relaxing and the food is dependable. This time, I had the chicken soup which was absolutely delicious - very flavourful broth with large chunks of chicken, potatoes, onions and celery. It hit the spot for a minor hunger. My husband always has the stew pork with rice and beans, so it must be good.

We stopped at Cheers (conveniently located on the Western Highway) twice during our stay in Belize. The setting is beautiful, with covered outdoor seating, tropical plants and birds. It was a great place to relax while enjoying good food at reasonable prices.

When you find this place you will be glad! The food was great, big selection, good service, but kind of hidden! ask the locals where to find it!

We were on our way to the airport and were getting hungry. We stopped here for some lunch. There is a large variety of meals at very reasonable prices. The lunch prices range $8-14, but this is Belize dollars, so our cost was half. They have quite a nice selection of smoothies, shakes and desserts. Cookies and muffins are available... More
