Not just for Brits

I stopped here once by mistake on the way home from Belize City. I thought it was Amigos, which I had enjoyed several years ago. It was the best mistake I ever made. Located close to the Manatee jungle training area this little roadside diner is frequented by British Army units conducting training in the jungle. The walls are covered in military plaques. The food is tasty and inexpensive costing $12 for a stacked burger (£4). They do great fruit juice as well.

Best service, good price. Nice management and a cool breeze to enjoy a Belikan with. Not fancy but a good value.

While not quite in the middle of nowhere, it seemed that way. Perfect place to stop on the drive from Belize City to Hopkins. Good variety of Americna food and Belizean fare. While I would go for the Super Chicken Tamales, my wife says go for the good old fashioned Hamburger. Good food for the money. Very nice covered outdoor... More

Great Food. Fun atmosphere. Great place to stop if you're driving through. It's located right off the main highway. Looked like it might be closed at first but we gave it a chance and it was open!

Local place, and pretty much the only place to eat in this area. It's 45 min from the airport on the south side of the highway. Laid back, open air, reasonable prices, good food. Menu is varied, with mix of local and international options. Would recommend.

We loved the t shirts hanging from the ceiling!! Comfy place to go before the zoo. Not a lot of options in this area - this one fit the bill!

This is a fun, well known and loved stop in Belize. Everyone knows the owner Chrissy and her Mom Anita. They've been serving up good food for over 13 some years. The restaurant is a covered, open-air pavilion. Signed tourist T-shirts hang from the ceilings, fans chase off the bugs, and there's a nice view of tropical plants in the... More

I have been coming to Cheers for years now, and must say it is arguably one of the best restaurants in Belize. The location is ideal if you're travelling the George Price Highway; roughly midway between Belize City and Belmopan (the capital). The managers and staff are always very courteous. Seating area is open air, and there are dozens of... More
