We stopped in for the wi-fi. Enjoyed a couple Belikins (a Belize beer which we liked). Service was friendly, but almost as slow as the wi-fi, so we decided against ordering food. The wi-fi was extremely sloooooow. We decided to try the upstairs location where the wi-fi was much better. Upstairs has a different password but they readily shared it... More

Fun place with good drinks and friendly staff. It was raining on our day in Belize so we stopped in for drinks. Was very nice and laid back.

Typical island ambiance serving local beer and rum punch. We went because we were given a coupon promising a free cocktail with purchase of a rum punch. The rum punch was a bit expensive but it was good. Also, a menu service is offered and we chose the fried plantains with coleslaw and the beef sliders. Both were good. Service... More

Enjoyed the visit to the Wet Lizard while in Belize. The staff was friendly and even took our picture to put on their Facebook page. We enjoyed rum punch and some awesome fried pickles while here. You can't miss the Wet Lizard as you walk along the dock, it is a great place to sit and watch the boats come... More

It's right along the port can't miss it. The girls were fun and they recommend anything you might want to do or go. Remember leaving the port area is the best thing to pay LESS. Anyway this bar is right along the water for some great views. Nice place to unwind after a long day and plus it's really close... More

Go up to the deck level to overlook the city. This is a Wifi hot spot and you can leave your husband there to eat and drink while you shop without hearing "are you done yet"? They have a Husband DayCare Center down by the water with DJ and bar. He or she won't care that your gone shopping and... More

Thanks so much for your comments. I got a good giggle when I read leave your husband with us at "husband Day Care so he won't be bugging you. That was the plan. Go shop, enjoy and yes, come back and let him watch all those shopping bags. You got the whole idea right, and glad you enjoyed it. And... More

On September 21 of this year my wife and I took our daughter and her boyfriend, they are 22 years old each, on the Navigator of the Seas (Royal Caribbean line) cruise out of Galveston. That cruise departs Galveston and heads first to Roatan, Honduras, after two days at sea, the next day is at Belize City, Belize… And then... More

First let me say, Belize should not be on your bucket list of things to do. We were only there as a stop on our cruise. That having been said, the Wet Lizard was a bright spot to our visit. Snacks and food was very good, but I do not recommend the Belliken beer. Whether because it was not really... More

We visited in September while cruising. Loved the chips and "salsa". The vinegar based pico was different but awesome and the darker corn chips were very tasty. This is a great hangout if you choose not to take an interior excursion.

So glad you liked our home made salsa. It is a little different then most, but fresh and tastey. The chips are actually made fresh on a daily basis and are a perfect match to the salsa. Thanks so much for stopping by and I am glad you had a good time. Do check us out again on your next... More
