+ Perfect fresh food + Very good priced + Including drinks and dessert + Go Slow Great experience on this streetside BBQ restaurant. Enjoy the daily caught Lobsters and other seafood. The owner Fran is really nice and makes sure that everybody who walks by knows about the island motto: "Go slow".

We loved it. Period. We wanted to try other restaurants on the island, but being the slow season, Fran's became our permanent back up plan. Sadly, we never needed our back up. The lobster was the best on the island. The curry shrimp was very very good. The rum drinks were lacking a bit but they weren't lacking in rum,... More

We love Fran and our dinner was fantastic. Sitting out on the beach, at the picnic table having a great dinner - what more could you ask for? The pineapple rum drinks were tasty and our food was delish. Thanks Fran, can't wait to see you on our third trip back to the island!!

It's literally just a grill, and a picnic table. But it was good! Ate here our first night in Caye Caulker. There were several young folks drinking around the table and when they saw us looking at the chalkboard menu, they said we had to try it! Fran mostly sits in her chair and bosses around the boys who cook.... More

Brilliant taste and value for money (and Fran has a super personality to get your sides aching from laughing as you wait for you food to BBQ). with it. Her Jerk Chicken and Shrimp curry were excellent, but more than that, I loved her two side dishes that came with each meal. They were garlic bread and mash... strange combination... More

We passed this place a couple of times during our time in Caye Caulker and could not understand how there were consistently people eating there. A couple of benches and a small hut doesn't exactly scream 'great food' BUT we couldn't have been more wrong! On our last night we ate at frans based on a recommendation from friends and... More

You sit out on the beach - family style picnic tables. Fran herself comes and takes your order, and your dining partners make the whole thing a very interesting experience. Price was OK

Fran's chicken is famous - and for good reason. She's only open at night, now - so be sure to look for her at dinner time.

Last night my family and I had dinner with the Lovely Fran and her charming son Jaylen. Grilled Lobster some garlic, some coconut curry, some grilled chicken assorted sides and always some chocolate cake and rum punch served beach side in the evening breeze at a picnic table with many laughs and stories to go around. My favorite might be... More

Good food at a great price. Dinner includes two rum punches, and a piece of cake. Two picnic tables on beach, we met some very interesting people here. Fran has a big personality, very entertaining
