Little Kitchen is run by Elba Flowers, the food cooked and served by her with love and her warm & friendly smile! Authentic, tasty, fresh Belizean cuisine... oh and did I mention the sunset view from this breezy rooftop location?! The old saying is true here... 'don't judge a book by its cover' ... and Little Kitchen either!

Like everyone says this is a hard place to find, if you walk south down middle street until you get to the end(there is a sign here pointing you towards it), take a right and walk about 2 blocks up, the entrance is on your left, it looks like someones drive way (there are signs pointing again) then around the... the little kitchen is in the "ghetto" of the island and it is quite a walk to get there BUT it is so cool once you go and enjoy truly fresh and authentic belizian seafood at a great price. fun adventure for us to walk from out hotel (seaside cabanas which is THE BEST) and experience the real people (not... The place is a true Belizean restaurant- local foods, local flavors, good prices. You can get cowfoot soup, fried whole fish, fresh juices, etc. The location is a bit hard to find. and it can be a bit nervewracking! It is located about mid island- away from the downtown tourist area.

The Little Kitchen can be a challenge to find, and if you are at all leery about the appearance of your restaurant it can be a challenge to keep going down the alley and around the corners to get to the stairs that take you up to the rooftop restaurant. Please do not be put off! The Little Kitchen is... More

My daughter and I ate at the Little Kitchen. It was difficult to find and somewhat difficult to access. We had to ease around a group of local ladies who were blocking the path while having an intense argument. At the same time, we had to dodge a couple of dogs who were fighting in the path. Atmosphere got better... More

An amazing place hidden very well among all CC dining options, or rather a bit far from them. The most authentic Belizean dinner I had. The meals are cooked by a lady who runs this little restaurant on the top of her house. The menu i guess changes depending on the catch of the day. I had a barracuda steak... More

Totally worth the extra time to find the place. Mom will cook you an amazing meal. Best food on the island on an upper porch with a great sunset view ! A must try on Caye Caulker.

We ate here on a tip from an ex-pat we met. We weren't disappointed. Its a little difficult to find but the locals were very helpful to navigate us! Once you arrive its a lovely rooftop setting for a cold beer with great service and the food was delicious- we had barracuda and snapper ($25 belize each)- both freshly cooked... More
