I wasn't sure I believed this claim, until I ate it! It's true! They also have fried conch, which my husband really enjoyed! It's a small restaurant, can be a little warm, but there's an outdoor patio. My only complaint is they had NONE of the juices/non-alcoholic drinks on their menu!

Here's where I learned the difference between "rice & beans" and "beans and rice." The service was good, and the food is good local food. I like to go to restaurants owned by locals and to explore the local cuisine when I travel, so this place fit the bill exactly!

Good food, but took forever. Like most things in Caye Caulker... they go slow... Not a real problem because they are making food to order... but don't go when you're starving because it will be forty-five minutes to get your food... Quality is good, but I didn't find it "Fantastic" or "Off the charts".

The $9bz fried chicken turned out to be a great choice: half a bird with coleslaw and many other complimentary side dish options. Friendly staff who remembered our names, had great humor and were very attentive! Great food and a great atmosphere on the outdoor patio at night.
