We are situated on the beach in front of the Belize Water Express at the end of their dock. We cater to locals and tourist alike. We only create dishes of seafood that have been caught and delivered to us fresh from the local fishermen here in San Pedro and you may see them deliver this fresh fish to us while you are enjoying a refreshing drink or eating a meal from our kitchen. We do make fresh vegetarian foods as well for the customers that choose not to eat fish or any meats. Please note: We do take credit cards.

What a great evening we had sitting at the table in the water. It was so refreshing to have the waves going over our feet. The meal was absolutely excellent!

We stopped in to have a drink and enjoy the view from the 2nd floor patio. It took the waitress FOREVER to get us drinks and we had to flag her down to get our check and pay out. They had a lousy little sound system (from a radio) that was piped in that was over powered by the live... More

Mario has a really good thing going here! He WRITES the menu daily depending on the catch, the food is served beachside, and there is a great upstairs where you can people watch and get a great view of the ocean. The wait staff is very attentive without being obtrusive. AND I ate the best blackened Jack I have ever... More

Great food, drinks, people, view, ambience, service - great for breakfast, lunch, brunch or just a cup of coffee and a chat.

Where to start? Licks is the coolest! The location, just off the dock from the ferry, is perfect. The owner, Mario, is super cool. The food is delicious and the service was outstanding. My tip, grab a table that's in the water and enjoy the Belikin with your legs in the water to stay cool. The coconut curry shrimp is... More

Mario was very nice-my husband and I stopped in twice just for drinks and advise on the island..both were good! We didn't do any meals only because we didn't stay in san pedro long enough to eat..we headed right to our resort..but lovely place..worth stopping in!!

Super friendly, great simple food, the BBQ is right on the beach. Got a free drink, always agreeable, and a good time. The best time so far on San Pedro that felt until then very touristy : a genuine place! I love the restaurant dog, Blue.

The jerk chicken and the curry conch/veggies were especially excellent. Get your soda in a glass bottle. The hospitable owner, Mario, knows and likes just about everybody (and vice versa), and he can point you wherever it is you need or want to go.

For context, I have lived on Ambergris Caye for the past three months with my wife and three children ages 5,4 and 7 months. We have eaten at pretty much every restaurant on the beach in some capacity.  The best food on the island is served at Licks and the prices won't break the bank.  We visited and re-visited this... With dietary restrictions, owner, Mario made necessary accommodations (to include going out to the local market to buy chips that were GF so we could have chips and guac). Had snook with mango salsa - wow! Drink of the day (green iguana) was sweet but tasty. Came back the next morning for coffee... It was the "besst" coffee on the... More
