not really awful but...

thought I would eat like a native and wandered in. food (snapper) was fair. waiter over-friendly selling all kinds of recreational options. the beer was cold. the prices were low to average.

Stopped at this place because of the ROASTING WHOLE Chickens in a glass roasting oven, on side of covered porch! The aroma was heaven. But I love my lamb on occasion, and the sign said "Lamb Kabobs", besides other types. I had two full skewers full of tender meat, hummus w a swirl of olive oil, coconut rice was added... More

My friends and I were looking for a great cheap place to have dinner. A guy approached us on the street stating he had seen us before and that his restaurant was better thab the one we had eaten at the night before, which was amazing. The prices were reasonable so we decided to go. First off it took them... More

The chicken from the rotisserie is okay but probably stays there several days... you get only a few grams if hummus, but it is good. The price is too high for what you get. The owner is kind of strange and a bit scary after a while. Better to avoid this place.

We were driving around San Pedro Island and drove past Ali Babas. I noticed a huge Rotisserie over outside that was filled with delicious smelling/looking chickens. I said to myself that I was definitely going back. And I did! SO GLAD I DID! First off, it's the only place I feel like I got a darn good drink. And cheap... More

Quite possibly the worst restaurant I have ever experienced. A real holiday low in a threatening environment and a weed-high aggressive and intimidating manager. The empty restaurant seemed fairly clean and it was about 10pm when we arrived in the are. Ali Babba was the only restaurant open in the area and it was our first night in San Pedro-... More

A good friend of mine and I just got back from San Pedro a couple days ago. We stopped at Ali Baba pretty much every day for a couple drinks, had supper there twice. I had no problems what so ever, people have stated that he's expensive and over charged. Well your in San Pedro, look around, everything here is... More

The owner Bilal was very personable at first and took our order quickly. The food was marginal and the longer we sat there the less attentive he became, but the real surprise was when we got the bill. He tried to charge us $149.00 for an over priced $110.00 meal. When we called him on his lie he took us... More

i had the misfortune of eating there. the food was very bad and i felt sick shortly after leaving the place; it took three days to recover from the meal. the service was almost as bad as the food and the owners attitude. avoid this place at all cost. i can't believe the tourism board allows this place to ruin... If you're looking for an experience and do not have high expectations, you might consider dropping in here for lunch. The rotisserie chicken wasn't bad. The other reviews are pretty accurate, but I have to say it was a fun experience for a group of guys who were just as crazy as Billy.
