Great food, great coffee, definitely worth a visit

Excellent food here. A nice, small cafe atmosphere. The coffee is great too. We popped in as a group of 6 for lunch. There was good variety on the relatively small menu with something for everyone. Definitely worth a visit! If you're trying to find this place, be careful as it's quite easy to... read more

I found only 2 places in San Pedro/Ambergris Cay that made real espresso/coffee and this was one of them - thankyou! I needed my caffeine fix and out of my 6 day trip visited this establishment 4 times. Aussie owners, Joanne and her husband, run this neat, clean and friendly cafe serving breakfast and lunch and the all important coffee.... More

Nice cafe with great food and friendly, fun staff. Everything was tasty and reasonably priced. Nice vegetarian options - bunless bean burger was one of the best meatless burgers I've had.

It was a fun adventure to find this little spot. We were greeted by the delightful Aussie hostess and owner. The menu is short and sweet but plenty. The coffee was strong enough to grow hair on our chest, but good. The French toast and Sage wrapped eggs were fabulous. We would definitely go back.

Just had lunch, good food, good coffee. The accoustics are not superb, they should improve that. The place is clean and looks the way I like to see a simple restaurant.

I can't even describe how addicted I am to Mesa Cafe! I found myself waking each morning to thoughts of the Bean Cake Benny and spent almost 5 straight days eating at Mesa. First day was the Bean Cake Benny- and many laughs with the super sweet owners, Joanne & Sheldon. 2nd day I went back for more Bean Cake... More

Very nice coffee! Had a quite unusual breakfast with hard boiled eggs wrapped in pork and sage, very tasty! Somewhat pricy, but worth it.

So good we went back. Wonderful breakfasts, especially the coconut French toast and the Australian coffee.
