I loved our lunch at mesa cafe. The restaurant is run by a very nice couple from Australia I believe and the food is delicious and a good price! I would call it contemporary unique food with lots of vegetarian options; refreshing change from typical island cuisine. Spices and ingredient combinations are wonderful as well. We got sweet potato veggie... More

We just came back from a few days in San Pedro and while we were there we decided to have breakfast here based on the reviews. We were not disappointed!!! Both my husband and I had the coconut French toast and it was the most delicious thing ever! The coffee was amazing too. The couple that owns the restaurant was... More

Very good sandwiches or breakfast. Servings are very large so go hungry. My only negative comment is the price due to large servings, would have been happier for smaller serving that doesn't drag you down for the rest of the day.

My wife and I went here for our first breakfast in Belize and we were not disappointed! The eggs were great, place small and inviting, and the owners super friendly! We struck up conversation with Joann and talked about life in Belize, the local places, my wife's tattoo, and the dream of moving to a beautiful island like ambergris caye!... More

We had lunch here during the few hours that we spent in San Pedro. The service was prompt and very friendly. The food was very good and hit the spot!

We had breakfast here twice. Bagel sandwich which was good (Melts better) but the Iced café and excellent muffin is what you want to order. Nice Aussie couple runs the place.

Dear Alex and Tyson 919, We think you have confused our name with some other cafe, as we do not offer bagels or sandwichs on our menu. We serve a restaurant level menu for lunch and breakfast which Mesa is well known for. Thank you for your lovely review, but we cannot accept someone elses review incorrectly. More

Amazing food, great staff, and friendly owners. This morning I could not have been happier with everything at breakfast. My friend had the Central American take on Eggs Benedict (Bean Benny) and I had the Eggs Chorizo. We were both happy with our meals, and I wish I had tried Mesa earlier in my trip. You will love this spot!

My wife and I had breakfast here one morning because we saw it had the #1 review on Tripadvisor.com. We weren't disappointed! The food was very good! I had an omelet and my wife had the french toast. Both were of very high quality. The owners are also great people who are doing a great job at running their first... More

breakfast was good this morning :) portions are big. we were not really enthousiastic about the coffee but we already found out that we dutchies can't expect strong coffee in places where lots of americans are around. so known that: the coffee is good. very friendly people, worth it to pass by :)

Dear LObbel, Thank you for your review. We are glad you enjoyed your overall experience at Mesa. We also personally love strong coffee, being from originally Melbourne, Australia, one of the seriously competitive coffee making cities of the world since the sixties. Having one of the very few manual espresso coffee making machines in Belize, with a Melbourne trained barista,... More
