I've had both breakfast and lunch at mesa once. each time it was a unique experience. breakfast is slightly different than you would expect to get most places on the island. the setting is offset quaint and relaxing considering its on one of the busiest streets facing the primary school. Inside you can sit in cool comfort away from the... More

Mesa is a great little cafe offering breakfast and lunch with food that's a cut above the standard fare in San Pedro. The menu isn't huge but is creative and offers just enough variety. The quality of the ingredients, preparation and presentation are all excellent. We went for breakfast, tried somewhere else the following day but quickly returned to Mesa... More

We visited this quaint little restaurant 7 years ago under prior ownership. The new owners are great. We had their coconut french toast. AWESOME!

The lunch menu offers unique items full of great flavor for low prices. Zoey is a hard worker with a great knack at pleasing the palate. Don't miss or it will be your loss. One of my top two places to eat in San Pedro

We enjoyed eating at Mesa and had we discovered it sooner likely would have returned a few times during our week's stay. Small but delicious menu, everything is cooked to perfection. Great coffee. Nice ambiance in one of Ambergris' Cayes newer buildings. Canadian owner is a delight to chat with.

This cafe is less at a great location - less than 1 block from the airport in a blue building that also houses an art gallery and other small shops. Zoey was courteous, sweet, professional, and her food was just wonderful. Open for breakfast and lunch only.

In a town where people have learned that they can charge pretty much what they want for semi good food in tourist restaurants, this place is a true breath of fresh air! Not only are the prices (approx 12 Belize dollars for breakfast) very reasonable compared to many other places but the young owner puts time, thought and energy into... More

We recently hired Zoey and Patrick for a special dinner. Patrick worked closely with us to insure we had a 5 course meal that was special for everyone - including cooking a separate meal for one individual. They brought everything with them, each course was plated beautifully, and they took the time to carefully explain each course for us foodies.... More
