The Mesa Café serves incredible food that calls one to revisit. We first went in for lunch and were well received and served delectable delights from the restaurant staff. Lovely space owned and operated by a lovely Aussie couple. They serve the best flat white coffee I have ever tasted. Johanna's daily muffins are fabulous but get there early because she sells out fast! The menu is not the typical greasy fare offered at most other local eateries.

Revisited Mesa for breakfast this morning. New owners are very charming and have put together a wonderful menu. Their Bean Cake Benny was a unique and delicious takeoff on a traditional Benedict. Would absolutely order it next time, except they had several other menu options I want to try first. Great food, great hosts, simple but classy operation!

This restaurant, with friendly and engaging Australian owners, has a limited menu but with totally different items than can be found at the majority of the other Ambergris Caye island establishments. Very tasty, artfully served and modestly priced. Very nice place to go for lunch.

My spouse and I ate here on our first day in San Pedro. They food was very good and the owners are friendly and welcoming. The location was perfect for us to watch all the morning action of this busy town.

The friend I was traveling with in Belize is a vegetarian, and I found this place when I was searching for vegetarian friendly places (since most Belizean cuisine is not veg friendly). This place not only had great vegetarian options, it was also delicious! The food was fresh, flavorful, inventive, and the presentation was excellent. It was just a casual... More

Hey Belize, surrounded by coffee countries, somehow missed the coffee craze. It is hard to find good coffee. Maxwell House, trying not to sound too Washington (Starbucks) snobbish, is not "great coffee"! Fortunately we found Mesa, owned by Australians, to be a wonderful oasis. We had our expressos inside, but the porch is right off the very busy street and... More

We were recommended this place for breakfast/lunch and was by far my favorite spot in San Pedro. The best coffee I've ever had and food is amazing (especially the coconut French toast). Sheldon and his wife own it and they are a delightful couple from Australia, they gave my boyfriend and I a lot of recommendations and advice on the... More
