We love this place! The food is great (amazing homemade tortillas!) and the prices are good. The new owners are so personable and are doing a great job!
We stopped in for a light meal and made lots of friends in the process. First, the screened in rooms are appreciated. No flies for this meal! The chicken tacos and Chimichangas were excellent. We wanted to stay longer and share drinks with the other customers but had other plans to keep. The owner and his dog were welcoming and... More
This is no longer "Joe's" as the sign says...purchased a year ago by Mark from Winipeg who is a very attentive and gracious host. Food is average to above and on par with most island eateries for price. This Tex-Mex Cantina is over 3 miles south of San Pedro town...2 miles of crater-filled dirt and gravel with craters filled with... More
We ate here TWO times last week with friends. The lobsters were incredible and always are. The staff was excellent and the owners are so friendly and accommodating...it is one of our favorite places to eat on the island!!
We stayed very close to the Lone Star, so it became a must-go-to. The food is really good. Leanne and Mark are wonderful hosts and make you feel very welcome. The staff was very attentive. The Lone Star is a local cantina-feeling restaurant just south of San Pedro, well worth the trip out of town.
We stayed close to the Lone Star in San Pedro and ate there every night we were there because we liked it so much! The food was amazing and they have such a huge menu that even the pickiest eater could find something they like. Portions were big and the staff was welcoming and very nice. They have a huge... More
Great spot south of town. We had the grouper and a quesadilla - both were amazing. We sat outside near the huge TV they have set up for sports - a very nice feature. Great, fast service. Draft Belikin - which was very tasty. And the grouper was some of the best I'd had on the island all week. Don't... More
South of the airport in San Pedro Belize is the Lone Star Grill and Cantina. Directly across from the ocean the vibe is warm and welcoming. The drinks are cold and the food is amazing! Definitely a must stop when on the island of San Pedro!
We were staying across the street, so we decided to give it a try. When we walked in, there were no other diners there. We placed our drink order and got them in a decent amount of time. In the meantime a big group came in and two or three smaller groups. Our waiter was also the bartender and couldn't... More
Awsome food! Awsome Service!. Located 3.5 miles from town, it's totally worth the trip. The ladies in the kitchen cook up a storm and ensure each dish is cooked to perfection. Jaimi the head waiter is by far one of the best in San Pedro. And the owners Mark and Leanne (Canadians) are always there to ensure your dining experience... More
