This was my favorite place for a Cubano in San Pedro. But it closed down and re-opened with a totally different feel and menu. I really liked the Cuban focus and that is gone. But other reviewers are right...great for people watching or more accurately street vendor watching.

Several months ago, Club Cubano changed hands to Ms. Lettie. Now called Island Torch. Getting a lot of business and good vibes on the food and service. Still has the fat Black Striped Iguana around the porch. Ms. Lettie now offers a party area for your special occasion in the yard next door. Coming to San Pedro soon? Give it... More

Average coffee and food. Grabbed something to eat and some coffee and sat for about 30 minutes. On the main street, good location for people watching. A fat iguana hangs out on the front porch steps. (or used to) Visited Jan 2012

After reading several reviews about this restaurant we decided to try it out. The hostess was very un friendly and despite being the only couple in the restaurant, we had to flag her down several times to help us. The food was ok but we found it to be overpriced compared to other restaurants on the island. Worst part was... More

We went to this place three times we liked it so much. The cuban coffee was excellent, the smoothies were fresher than what I make at home, the fry jacks my kids wanted more and more of those, the eggs were fresh, by far the best place to eat breakfast on the island!

I love Cuban Coffee so when I stumbled upon this little gem I was in heaven. Once I tasted their coffee I was hooked & came back every morning for the large coffee with milk. Each cup is brewed to order Cuban style for $4.00 USD it's about the same as Starbucks. I enquired about purchasing some of the Cubita... More

We really liked the strong Cuban coffee here. Definitely had refills! Breakfast was ok, we thought a bit more $$ than some other places. My wife enjoyed her's a lot. I had just the pancakes - which I thought were average. Nice place to sit, relax and watch what's going on in the square. Unlike some others, we thought the... More

Nice place to sip coffee and watch the people in the square. Fun to read the health food signs and see Cuban art. We were there on Garifuna Day and would recommend taking that in if you are there in November...celebrates the wreck of a slave ship and the survival of the slaves with the help of the locals of... I like strong coffee but my wife's coffee (americano/regular coffee) was way too strong. My espresso had no creme on top but had good flavour. Neither was really a problem but the lady barista who served us was grumpy, in a hurry and did not listen to my questions. She spoke over the top of me while I was asking... More

Felt like we were interrupting the server/owner's? morning. Prepare to listen to elevator music on top of DJ modern music from the park on top of vehicles. Was over priced for decor. Bathroom was filthy.
