Thank the good Lord that someone casually recommended that we check out Robin's Kitchen while we were in Ambergris Caye because it ended up being our very favorite dining experience - so much so that we went twice during our vacation. We were staying at the Victoria House, which is in walking distance of the restaurant. On our first visit,... More

We walked 1.5 miles from our resort to get to Robin's Kitchen, and it was well worth the effort. My boyfriend had the jerk chicken with coleslaw, beans and rice, and I had a vegetable stir fry (I think?) with cabbage and okra, which came out to 28 Belizean dollars, or $14USD. For two people, it was a bargain. We... More

Robin's Kitchen of course isn't a kitchen. It's a palapa, a couple of tables and a bbq. And they serve the BEST fish curry, ever. Mr John, the owner, is a wonderful human being who takes so much pride in his food you can taste it. I have found that ever time i've eaten there, i have voluntarily chosen to... More

Doesn't look like much, a shack with outdoor tables. Food is served on glass plates. We had the curry chicken, rice and coleslaw. Awesome. 13.00 for 2 (us dollars) the best

The chicken here is absolutely delicious and was right across the street from our resort. Don't miss out and definitely give it a try

As one review stated, don't be fooled by the look of the place. the food was amazing. it is all handmade and authentic. This was 1/4 mile from where we stayed and we ate there 3 times. Twice was for dinner, the stewed chicken rice and beans are fantastic by the way, and once for breakfast. The letter was one... More

Don't be fooled by the look of the place. You walk up and there is a grill with a bunch of chicken grilling up and it smells great. We had the jerk chicken, coleslaw and beans & rice, and it was great for the price. We also got to chat with Robin the owner, very nice guy.

Homemade flavor from a modest road side restaurant. Never had a bad meal here and still amazed over what great food comes from their little kitchen. Jerk chicken, curry chicken, fresh whole fish, and of course rice and beans, all excellent. The care behind the making of the food definitely shows through. If your on the North side, Robins is... I went to this place after reading the good reviews and seeing that it was a short walk from my resort. I'll admit that when I first walked up I was a little skeptical since it was a very simple looking establishment with a man singing karaoke outside. That would be a good lesson in "Don't judge a book by... More
