Don't pass up this chicken!

Definitely more of a 3.5 than a 4, but rounded up because this was without a doubt the best chicken we had in our week at San Pedro. Admittedly it's easy to pass this place up as it's more of a food stand than a restaurant, but you would regret not trying this for lunch. The spices were amazing... read more

We had ours delivered to the squirrel nest bar across the street. We were all blown away. Tender, tasty and fresh. We were able to have lunch so not sure what time they opened that day. Very inexpensive, around $6U.S. each. Best food we had on the island.

Our group of 9 went here for dinner and everyone had a FANTASTIC meal with a great chef! They had no problem accommodating us right away, staff was awesome, John especially! Food was very reasonably priced, I believe John makes one meal a day so when you get there you ask what he's serving up that day and decide if... More

Just enjoyed Jerk Chicken with rice&beans and potato salad for lunch. The meat was on the smoker ready to go so we had our meal within minutes... A RARE thing on this island. Amazing flavor and the best value! Only $28 for 4 people and we all had a soda as well!

What a great place to eat! You will not find more authentic food on the island. This is not a white table cloth resturant and I hope it never is! Don't look for the menu just sit down and wait to be treated like family!

We ate here twice. It does not look like much from the road--just a small palapa and a few tables and chairs--but the best jerk chicken BBQ. Note: Not fast food. Get there at around 6 pm if you want a shorter wait--but it's worth it. Note: No beer or liquor--just soda or water. Very cheap--about $28 Belizean $ ($14... More

I guess you could call this a sidewalk shack, but there's no sidewalk. The 4 tables are outside in the sand and Robin puts a mean jerk chicken on the plate. We sat down at a table and were told it will be ready in a few minutes. No ordering needed. We were brought a plate of jerk chicken, potato... More

This guy makes the best chicken on an outdoor BBQ (oil drum) and the sauce is delicious. Hit and miss on when it is open but if you drive by on your golf cart and can smell it, stop in and get a plate or two.

A very authentic and delicious meal! Wish I could eat here daily! Located south of town, it's a simple roadside shack with a wonderful group of folks making San Pedro's BEST jerk chicken.

The place is modest, the owners are kind, hardworking people, and the menu is simple. You may have barbecued or jerk chicken with rice and beans and cole slaw! The first time we drove by on bikes the owner gave us a taste of the chicken since we had just eaten lunch. It was to die for . . .... More
