Favorite Dockside Bar in San Pedro

We had been walking the beach and streets checking out San Pedro on our first day in town and spotted the Hurricane sitting out on a pier. It has a local bar look and feel to it and was just what we were looking for. The beer was ice cold, the frozen drinks were inventive and the ceviche was... read more

Only a few tables at this beach side Ceviche Bar has limited seating but this is the best Ceviche I've ever had! Worth waiting in line for the food!

Love the food, the staff, and the whole experience. Josh and James tend bar (try the Mango mojitos!) ..IMHO they serve some of the best crevice on the island. The owners are friendly and you'll love eating over the water with the sea breeze and amazing views. Very relaxed and out of the way place to visit. We end up... More

This is a great place to spend a warm afternoon. Good fish tacos, cold beer and when Josh is bartending the best mojitos ever! Family run business that cares for the customers!

Great place on the water you can enjoy their great ceviche and super cold beers, while you're surrounded by fish below you in the crystal clear water.

We had a good breakfast a few times and also drinks at night. Staff is very friendly. Seating inside and out. At night you can see the fish come next to the dock . Music at night .

Right on a pier over the water so a great view with a breeze. The staff was great, the price very reasonable and the entrees all pleasing for the seven of us.

On a pier the bar offers a great seaview, but more important, good food and drinks. Closed on Sundays.

I ended up here during a recent trip to San Pedro on the advice of a friend. It was a fantastic recommendation - the location can't be beat, out over the water with a lovely ocean view and breeze, and the staff were very friendly. I was traveling solo and they got to know me on the first day and... More

At the end of the dock, so it's a great spot if you like the sea to be part of your dinner experience (a little exposed if it's real windy, though). We had the grouper and ceviche -- both excellent. The prices were slightly higher than some of the other places on Ambergris, but it was definitely worth it for... More
