Lunch

We stopped for an early lunch of shrimp ceviche and chicken burrito. Josh was a sweet host and our meal was terrific as we enjoyed the breeze. Ceviche was delicious and the homemade tortilla and burrito was great.

Tracking down noted naturalist and guide Daniel Nunez led us to his family's restaurant perched on a dock on the east side of Ambergris Caye. Fresh grouper, the night's special, was OUTSTANDING (we're Miami foodies and know grouper and fresh when we get it!). Likewise the mojitos from the bar and a ceviche appetizer. Happy staff and customers, well-prepared food,... More

Since we have spent a good bit of vacation time in the different islands over the last 25 years, I consider myself a ceviche snob... Hurricane's ceviche is to die for! Has just the right amount of veggies, spices, and good bit of fish / conch. The regular entrees of fish we had were wonderful too. Great location, relaxed environment,... More

Daniel is owner and very accommodating. He took us snorkeling and was a great guide also. He was patient with our grandson and clearly loves being underwater! He was a free diver and doesn't bother with a snorkel because he can stay down for a long time. I think my wife has a little crush on him. The food was... More

Had drinks before dinner one night in San Pedro at Hurricane's. Great place to have a few drinks to start the evening. It's setting is very nice over the water and is in a great location in the middle of town on the beach. The bartender was very nice and made sure we were well taken care of.

Chip at the dive shop told us about Hurricane, where his wife Carmen is the lunchtime chef. He was right! Great food! The restaurant sits on stilts. We had the catch of the day and creole fish. It was So good I asked to meet the dinner chef and asked him what he used. (He visited our table and told... More

The ceviche at this place is some of the best we had in Belize! The location is great; right on the beach with a little roof area that you can eat and drink while looking out towards the reef. The ceviche comes in a huge dish, enough for two people to eat and be full off of. The bartenders made... More

Like I said if you like Jalapeno poppers come here and get them. Great food and great location out over the water. We were also told by the dinners next to us the have the best Cevichie on the island. Fair prices and Great food.

A great place to end another perfect day on Isla Bonita! Laid back, with a constant breeze off the sea. Friendly service, and an easy walk down the beach to most San Pedro hotels.
