Great place to eat. It came highly recommended and I will pass that recommendation on. Sand floors and traditional cooking. Can't beat it.

Heard of this place in San Pedro while visiting Placencia (Elijah sent us!) Great recommendation! Watch as the locals stream in to eat or carry out the goodies! What better review than that? On our first visit, we had stewed chicken, a Belizean staple made with recado spice paste but not spicy - amazing! Today, we tried the conch fritters... More

We had the BBQ chicken. It came with rice and beans, cole slaw and plantains. Excellent! Nice setting with sand floors and palapa room with open fire hearth. We will go back!

Had dinner and lunch in 4 days on island. Conch fritters good. Stew beef tender. Service from Farid great. Key lime pie really made with cool whip. Ceviche very fresh and nice. Recommend

The stewed chicken, rice and peas and plantains were pretty good. We came back a second time for the salbutes. Make sure to ask for the spicy habanero sauces on the side. They taste amazing on top of the salbutes. I might go back a third time for those :)

Louis and Olive are wonderful people with an equally wonderful restaurant. The slow cooked stews made over a wood burning grill are delicious. Grilled local fresh fish, perfectly done. Really liked the Salbutes at lunch. The wait staff are knowledgeable and very pleasant. I come to Ambergris Caye every other year and always eat here at least for three meals... More

Stumbled upon this place late one evening while on the hunt for dinner. Even though they were about to close up for the night, they offered to stay open for our group of 6 and we're so glad they did. Delicious watermelon mojito and kebabs! And the bug spray they offered on each table was an added bonus!
