As its name implies a local cooking spot that will not disapoint various dishes to chose from moderately priced and delivered by very service orientated servers . I highly recommend this for dinner very casual and a neat experienced tell them mr pete sent you it won't get you a discount but it will be an ice breaker.

We discovered El Fogon by accident on our last day, and we were really happy we did. We went for dinner and the food was excellent, as was the service. We particularly enjoyed the fish balls - not an inspired name, but absolutely delicious. Also, you must try a Craboo Colada - it is a frothy delicious drink made with... More

While we enjoyed our grilled fish very much, the conch fritters stole the show. These were the best I have ever had, with large chunks of conch, not just balls of dough with a few shreds of conch like you get elsewhere. Next time I go there I am ordering a double order of conch fritters and will make that... More

Manuel at Las Terrazas stated the food at El Fogon is the best on the island. I will say that the competition is tough, 'O' has also need incredible, as was Aji, and Elvi's. El Fogon is tucked away on a side street, but don't be fooled. The atmosphere, once u walk in, is very inviting. They will take great... More

El Fogon is a little bit hidden (off the beach on a side street) but worth seeking out! The atmosphere is great. Sand floors, picnic tables with white table clothes, tropical and quiet. Our waiter was very friendly and gave great recommendations for dinner. My husband and I started with the sangria and conch fritters - amazing! The mango shrimp... More

Their conch fritters are really superb. Lot's of tender chunks of conch, and all the right seasonings. Bring your own hot sauce, though, if you want the typical red stuff. Stop at the corner grocery right there, and pick up some Marie Sharps, and take it with. Everything we ate there was just delicious, and service was with a smile
