Don't let the location fool you--best food and service in San Pedro!

Today I experienced my fourth meal at El Fogon. It was recommended by locals...and I can see why! Last time I was here, lobster was in season. The garlic lobster and ginger mojitos were exceptional. Since lobsters are out of season in March, I went for the curry shrimp. Again, my meal was... read more

This was our favorite meal on Anbergris Key. Authentic and fantastic. Recommended to us by some of the local guides on our trips as being their favorite place. We walked past in the morning before it was open to take a look at the place and peruse the menu and the owner walked over and allowed us to go in,... More

Nice place for fresh fish. Location is by the airport not by beach. Would recommend for family. Mosquitoes were annoying, ask for bug spray!

The best food I have had in San pedro hands down, having been to San Pedro 3 times and eaten at numerous restaurants this one is by far the best food I have had. Very good service and the best wait staff I have encountered. Can't wait to get back in October.

Locals in Belize will often tell you their mother or grandmother refuses to use a stove and still cooks over a fire. At El Fogon you can have wood fire grilled food. I had the rice and beans and stew chicken. In Belize you will learn that beans and rice is different from rice and beans. Beans and rice is... More

This is probably the best family restaurant in San Pedro. They have an open grill. Their ginger Mojitos are amazing. Seafood is so fresh and flavorful. Staff has a welcoming attitude. We liked it so much that we went back two times for dinner.

12 of us pulled up for dinner and within 2 minutes we were seated. Let me say first off say our waiter ( unfortunately i forgot his name .sorry) was awesome! He didn't miss a beat and with 8 adults and 4 kids thats not easy. I ordered the stew chicken and i was not disappointed. There are some great... More

We visited El Fogon on a recent trip to Belize. There were 12 of us that showed up together for dinner. I wish I remembered our waiters name because the service was fantastic. It can be difficult dealing with such a large group, but he managed no problem. Stew chicken, rice & beans was delicious and reasonably priced. The complimentary... More

You may enjoy this place! We asked a few locals where to get good Belizean food and they consistently recommended this place. But, we should have asked them where do they love to go regularly because that is what we wanted to know. Every guest in this place looked like a tourist! And, it is expensive. Some of the best... We enjoyed some of the best ceviche we've ever had and their fish kabobs do not lack in flavor! Overall great food for the price and a must when visiting San Pedro... A MUST!
