The grilled crab claw was great, but otherwise it was way too expensive for the food and atmosphere. Over-rated, but we went by trip advisor recommendation - not always a win for us.

This is authentic Belizean food for a very great price. The people are nice too :) and the dining facilities are unique as well, a little bit of all types of seating and surroundings

Great little restaurant with delicious food. I had the venison and my wife had fish. Just one warning: if you try their habanero hot sauce, be prepared for some real heat! They serve one that is straight habaneros and another that is more like a habanero relish. But if you're going all the way to Belize, you might as well... More

Wonderful meal, with appetizer, main course and desert all included. Great key lime pie. Off the main routes but well worth the hunt.

We ate there on our last full day in San Pedro. It is about as rustic as it gets, covered picnic tables, hidden behind a low rising whitewashed fence next to an outdoor stove. The menu so simple, faded white chalk on a well worn chalk board. Most items between 15 to 28 Belieze. We heard the stewed chicken was... More

My first meal in Belize was the fried fish (cant remember the name)! It was amazing! I also had fresh watermelon water with my dish. Strongly recommend!

My boyfriend and I , were looking for dine at an authentic Belizean restaurant , since the rest serves continental food. The food is so delicious, I ordered a 3 course meal that has grilled fish with stew veggies and for dessert is their homemade key lime cream pie personally made the by Alfonso! Service is great, they called the... More

We were dropped off at El Fogon by a cab. The outside of the place was not very inviting, but once you got inside it was nice. By nice, I mean laid back and relaxing. We ate at a picnic table in the sand outside. We split a meal which was fantastic. We had the typical Belizian dinner of fish,... More

Freshest fish and great local experience. The staff made us feel welcome and ensured we enjoyed our meal. Great value and one of the best meals we had on the island!

The food is great and reasonably priced. Service is personable. Only downside is the location, on a backstreet and can be quite buggy. It's worth it though!
