We were told by several locals and the owners of the resort we were staying at to give this hole in the wall restaurant a try. We were up for the challenge, as everything else that was suggested during our trip was a success. We were so amazed at the portion of the lobster burrito, we shared it and barely... More

Title says it all. And, across the street, is a little grill thing going on outside on the sidewalk that does appetizer thingys (at really good prices). But Waruguma gets you in, fed, and out quickly. Been there several times, with 6 to 10 people, and everyone raved.

Waruguma is another one of those places you would pass right by except that someone recommended it. I feel in love with their papusa's which I have never had before. Corn flour hand pressed around meat and cheese filling and then grilled. Really really good. Ate there twice. The first time I ordered the chicken kebob and got a chicken... More

This place looks like some old dingy shack in town, but don't be fooled! They have awesome papusas, and you have to order a lobster burrito! It is soooo big, and comes with an extra lobster tail on the side! The lobster tostadas were mighty tasty as well. True Belizean experience with no touristy airs. Loved it and will definitely... A little hole in the wall with amazing food. They make fresh tortillas right there onsite. Great place to stop for a quick bite to eat and grab a Belekin.

Great lobster burritos as advertised. Don't blink or you'll miss it! My daughter had Watermelon juice and it was great. They only take cash btw.

Our local dive master recommend our family there says all locals go there. Well we went it is a hole in the wall but they are famous for their lobster burritos. It was excellent. I have eaten all over the world and have never had so lobster on a plate. The waiter told me almost 3/4 they use fresh lobster... More

This little restaurant was recommended by one of the locals. It's not fancy but it's really good and the portions are huge, especially the burritos! There are a few tables outside by the alley that get the ocean breeze so it's a little cooler than siting indoors even with ceiling fans. Try the papusa's which are hand made by the... More

This was a great place. The prices were beyond reasonable and the food was good. We had their pululpas (spelling) that was quite tasty especially the pumpkin one. Then we had the lobster burrito that was massive. Two people could split a burrito for sure and that would let you try another dish. They are not shy about throwing in... More
