Simple food done well and AMAZINGLY good. I can't say enough about this place. We recommended it left and right. Ditto to the lobster burrito - for $13.50 US you get the most amazing burrito overflowing with lobster and a tail on the top. Loved the Pupusas. Try the banana one with chocolate! So awesome. We kept coming back for... More

Jenny and I eat here almost every day, We always start day one with a lobster Burrito, it will blow your mind, always great sea food, try everything. Rudy from Island Divers turned us on to this place in 2005.

Ordered the lobster burrito. The lobster pieces were very mushy. The sauce was not near as tasty as in the past. Kind of disappointed :-(

Best burritos I have ever tasted. Do yourself a favor and get the lobster burrito with coconut cream sauce. Great service too and the prices are reasonable (cheap compare to US).

Sea food was fresh and tasted great. I still wanted to eat even after I was full. For each day after the first time there, that was the only place I wanted to go.

We were the first to try the lobster Nachos on their menu and had come here the night before for the lobster burrito that the locals rave about. we liked them so much that we came back the next night to have them again....These people don't mess around - you will be hard pressed to not find any lobster on... Waruguma was a recommendation from a resident that we met on our flight to San Pedro. They encouraged us to try the lobster burritos! They were fabulous!! They are huge, so sharing is a possibility. During our stay, we went back to Waruguma again, this time to try the pupusas! They were actually made and grilled in front of the... More

Juan Pablo (o solamente Pablo :) was our server on both our visits. We try not to go the same place twice in order to experience more local fare but this place was fantastic. Pablo gave us his honest opinion (and not just the highest item on the menu). Pupusas were incredible!!! I will miss these back home!

For our third visit to San Pedro we decided to ask some of the owners of other restaurants and a few other people we have come to know, where they eat. Waruguma came up every time. The limelight item is a monsterous lobster burrito and it lives up to its reputation. Tons of lobster plus it's topped with a lobster... More

I was told about Waruguma's by a local bartender. Ordered lobster and it was great. Tried the recommended lobster burrito later and a pupusa(sp.?). It's a place you have to search out...but well worth it. Tasty and well worth the inexpensive prices!
