I'm not sure what all the fuss is about. We tried it. It was OK. I wouldn't waste my time going back. There are too many other great spots in San Pedro to visit here more than once. It wasn't bad...it just wasn't anything special in my opinion.

basically the same thing as Mariano's (spelling?) but on middle street, so harder to find. Better atmosphere at DandE's too, but that doesn't affect the taste of the ice cream all that much. I would say it's a should go.

Third trip to Ambergris Cay and I never skip this spot. Right in the middle of the main drag in San Pedro. Maybe the best ice cream you will eat anywhere. Closed Mon. and Tues, so go twice on Sat! These expats from Pennsylvania ship the milk down from back home to insure the quality. I highly recommend the coconut... More

Great great great ice-cream. The absolutely creamiest and best tasting. Glad the portion was small because the calories must have been huge. Go Go Go.

The custard is absolutely delicious. My wife and I have been hearing about this place since we got here and let me tell you it didn't disappoint. If you're on San Pedro you have to go there

We were staying 5 miles north of the town and made a trip in especially to try some local delights. Upon arriving we were instantly greeted by a super friendly Eileen. I stuck with some Caribbean flavours of coconut and rum and raisin and it was amazing. I would have to say it was one of the best ice creams... More

Soooooo good. Don't miss this place. Try the rum raisin topping. DandE's is located next door to Caramba Restaurant. Dine there then go next door for custard. Perfect.

Our party of 13 all had different flavors of ice cream & sorbet. Ice cream was very creamy, sorbets had a bit of iciness not as smooth as the ice cream. Wonderful dessert to offset the warm humid evening in San Pedro.

If the effort is worth shipping dairy from Pennsylvania to make custard for tourists in San Pedro, it's worth your time to receive friendly service and top shelf ice cream! Great stop on a hot day - really any day!

This small husband and wife business is NOT small in flavor! They have the creamiest ice cream around San Pedro! Our family stopped in for some delicious and scrumptious frozen delights! This is one of my "guilty pleasures" and I'm glad we were on vacation, as I would be at DandE's everyday!!! The flavorful mint chocolate chip, coconut and mango... More
