This place has a mom and pops feel and has a local menu and good price. The food is good, timely, and priced well. The reason I didn't return was because I prefer to eat overlooking the beach and this place doesn't have the best atmosphere. The food is also pretty standard compared to other places. On our first morning in San Pedro we had an excursion cancel due to recent rains. What do we do now? Find a great place for breakfast, that is what. George’s Kitchen fit the bill perfectly. George’s was recommended by the staff at Xanadu so we took their advice and went on a short stroll to try the place out.... More

After ten days in San Pedro (second trip here) we ate at George's twice today. We had bacon and eggs and an omelet for breakfast and went back for their Belizean fish dinner and a BLT. It was all delicious and just what we were looking for this evening - fresh pan-fried fish with rice and beans, salad and sautéed... More

If you are a no-frills person, this place is like your USA "diner" but it is on the island. You can get breakfast and lunch. Although they claim to be open for dinner, we saw that it was closed a few nights. This is an open air restaurant where you can get breakfast or a lunch sandwich. There is nothing... More

Nice fruit plate, great coffee, and terrific service. Everything fresh and well prepared. Low key environment and a nice place to gather for breakfast.

George's kitchen is a well established restaurant catering to both the locals and visitors. We had a very good local breakfast of eggs, sausages, gallo pinto rice, pancakes and plantain. Bottomless cups of coffee provided by cheerful and friendly Maria G. Clean and good on your budget.

George's Kitchen was a bit far to go (since we walked everywhere) but it was worth it. The food was incredibly flavorful. They had the best stewed chicken, rice and beans in Belize.

Breakfasts cooked perfectly. Food came out hot and fast. The lunches on other tables looked great. We will come back some other time to try a lunch or dinner. It came highly recommended by several friends we have met over 3 visits to San Pedro.
