Downtown Alpharetta's best. Several different kinds of BBQ to fit your taste. Extra great sides as collard greens and sweet potato. We eat there at every opportunity. Don't miss this place.

I was in town on a business trip and was taken here for lunch..it was excellent! I went back for dinner one night and it was just as excellent. The pulled pork sandwich and burnt ends I had were exceptional, but the fried pickles were the best. I first went to Cue based on TripAdvisor, but I highly prefer Smokjack!... More

The fried pickles are sooo good! The barbecue is perfect. I can't wait to go back! If you like southern barbecue this is the place to go.

I have been to SmokeJack twice and both the times, I could not resist ordering their barbecue chicken wings with the hot sauce. They simply melt in your mouth. Their brisket is soft, juicy and delicious even when it is well-done. Good ambience, good beers - the one i liked was the Kentucky Bourbon aged beer.

The first questions we asked the waitress were answered with a resounding no - no checking or offering options. One side dish that should have been hot was not. We sent it back twice and each time we had to find the waitress. You would think she would stay and see if it was okay when she brought it back.... More

We live in the area, and this is another great restaurant to have right here on Main Street, Alpharetta. We had an 18th birthday family dinner here and the staff were so obliging to making it special. I arranged to drop off a cake and table decorations earlier in the afternoon and the staff arranged a special table and had... More

We ate lunch here by chance when we were on this side of town. It was very good overall. The restaurant was nicely decorated, so it didn't give off that hole in the wall vibe of a lot of BBQ places. The prices were in line with BBQ which is to say not cheap, but not too expensive. I had... More

Fun location in downtown historic Alpharetta with ease of parking and plenty of seating plus take out and catering options. A variety of their own bottled sauces compliment the BBQ preparations and my favorite is the overstuffed tasty and tender pulled pork sandwich. A side of their homemade potato salad rounds it out nicely. Well worth repeated visits.

This place has a really cool vibe, and the BBQ is exceptional. I like the brickhouse ambiance and the selection of sauces. Their pork sandwich gets 5 stars!!

Found this restaurant via the "Find me GF" Android app. I have been Gluten Free for a few years and my parents have just decided to try going GF. This restaurant has a clearly marked menu (you don't have to ask for a separate GF menu) with all of the items that are GF. There were plenty of choices. The... More
