Should be a 5 star

It would have been a 5 star review but there was a mixup at the host stand that made us wait longer than anticipated (they accidentally skipped over us). The service was sincere (as was there apology) and the food was spot on. We'll definitely be back

Enjoyed dinner with friends and had the Cajun shrimp. It was really awesome. Try it next time. My husband had the special that night and it too was good. Service was fast and friendly.

Great place to have our Anniversay dinner. We had reservations for 9, however someone messed them up and there were no reservations at the location. However the floor manger made adjustments for us. The food was EXECELLENT and very tasty. Service after the lost reservation was great. This is a place that I would be lad to return with friends.... More

For a customer lunch I go no where else. The food is consistently good! Kelly is the best bartender, she is always attentive and makes you feel like you are the only ones at the bar. Johanna the manager is great, always visible greeting the customers. Great job to all of you at Village Tavern.

We visited Village Tavern again last night. Matt was our server. He provided outstanding service, and the food was excellent. Heads up on the red wines. They are slightly chilled. Matt heated another wine glass in the steamer, polished and brought it to my wife to help warm the wine. It took a while, but it did the job.

Its a very busy restaurant and our visit was no exception. We were celebrating my wife's birthday with family, a group of 7. We all decided on the Brunch menu and most of us had the Benedict with salmon. The meal was okay, but the muffin part was so hard I couldn't cut it with a steak knife. Other than... More

This is our old standby for lunch or dinner. The menu is extensive with something for all - we can go there frequently and still have options so it does not feel redundant. They take reservations, which is a plus in Atlanta. Convenient place to dine prior to a concert at the Verizon Amphitheatre.

Met a few friends for lunch. The only problem was that we met on the Friday before Christmas not even thinking that this would be full of office parties. Very loud that day, usually not this loud.

Our family went to celebrate our twins birthday. I'd be several times before but no one else had. The service started well and the appetizers seems fine. Unfortunately, 4 of the 7 of us had truly awful entrees. My wife's meatloaf had the texture of hamburger. My scallops were chewy and tasted bitter. They were so bad I could only... More
