We celebrated the 50th wedding anniversary of some friends of ours at Village Tavern. I made reservations & notified them of the event. Many thanks to Johanna Lozano (the manager) and our server Nikki who made the evening wonderful. We had exceptional service and our appetizers were wonderful....bacon wrapped scallops, sashimi and fried oysters. Warm Butter Cake with ice cream... More

We went to several restaurants during our stay and this was the gem for sure! Our waitress was outgoing, personable and very helpful with what other patrons typically rave about and she was right on. We had the loaded nachos and fried oysters. Both were delicious but the oysters stood out as fresh and very juicy. Lovely dish. She recommended... More

This was a great restaurant to grab a bite before a concert we were attending at the Verizon Ampitheatre! Loved the cool atmosphere and decor. The food was very good and not too expensive and the drinks were even better. It was VERY crowded on a Friday night, so we were lucky and got 2 seats at the bar where... More

$27 for a 10oz filet (aged 28 days) with 2 gourmet sides?? You better believe it! One of the best servers I've ever had, great wine list and ambiance, love it!

We've been going to the Village Tavern for many, many years but in the past year have been disappointed in our experiences there. It just isn't nearly as good as it used to be. What used to be so consistent at each visit has changed. My husband had crab cakes... in the past there was very little filler and now... More

The menu offerings have changed a bit recently as they have reduced the numbers of items though hard to tell because they still have such a wide selection. They tend to be a bit limited in "specials". However for the number and variety of items available, it doesn't seem to matter. We have visited on 3 occasions over the past... More

My husband and I decided to try the Village Tavern before a concert at the Verizon Amphitheater. We are glad we did! From the appetizer to the dessert, the food was great. The service was great too. The restaurant is really close to the Amphitheater. We will go back soon!

This is a restaurant that is not at all gimmicky, not trendy, not pretentious. It is simply superb. The ambiance is nice. The staff attentive. The menu varied. These are all things you can find at other fine restaurants. But The Village Tavern is a place I look forward to visiting often. The quality of the food is superb. My... More

I happen to love the Tavern. Been saving a gift card for a night out and had dinner there last week. I ordered a Rib eye expecting a Great steak the wedge for a salad and we had to request bread. The wedge was so so and nothing special. When my steak came out it was decent looking but after... More
