It is a very popular restaurant as it was packed to the rafters, but it's not my kind of atmosphere. My St Louis ribs lacked flavor, and my wife's entrée arrived twenty minutes after mine. It was our first and last visit.

Stopped in recently for dinner after traveling, just wanted somewhere I could grab a burger and a beer. I actually wanted to go to The Varsity for a chilidog fix, across the street from Village Tavern but the place was empty (not a sign of good food). I sat at the bar, and the bartender took a little time to... More

We had a team dinner, I had salmon and it was very good. The choices of wine were great and I had a malbec (My favorite). The service was pretty good too and so were the choices of dessert. I had s creme brulee, which was perfect.

Let me start by saying that we come here a lot and have very much enjoyed it up until our last 2 visits. I made a reservation for my husband and I to have dinner last Friday night at 7:30. Upon arriving at 7:30, the place was insanely busy. This was to be expected as it was Valentines Day weekend,... More

Love this place! We like to take out-of-town guests to this restaurant and they always love it. You can order anything you like because the menu has a wide variety of options. The crab dip appetizer is always delicious and there is a wide variety of wines.

I like the atmosphere - there is indoor seating near a large fireplace and also outdoor seating and sometimes live music. You can get anything from snacks to full meals - comfort foods as well as healthy and veggie options

The restaurant atmosphere was very nice, the customer service was great but the food in my OPINION is very over rated for the price.

I have eaten at Village Tavern for lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch and each time the service is excellent and the food is awesome. My fiancé loves the Clam Chowder and often asks for me to stop and bring it home. I highly recommend Village Tavern.

Always a clear choice for me when I think of the atmosphere and food. There are many varied and tasty selections and everyone can find something they would like from the menu. The atmosphere is warm and cozy with a large and inviting fireplace as a centerpiece. Great for families, dates, business lunches and Sunday brunches.

I have had three decent meals there recently...not great, but not bad. The facility is beautiful. The tables are always comfortable and service is good. But something is lacking in the food. You would expect it to be better given the surroundings.
