We love this restaurant even though it is a chain. The gumbo was really good. I had Chilean Sea Bass with Shrimp and lump crabmeat along with a nice bottle of wine. My husband had the shrimp étouffée which he really enjoyed. You can't go wrong here if you love seafood with some Louisiana twists

I have been excited about trying this buffet since I heard about it. Being from New Orleans, I may be biased, but the food was just okay on the lunch buffet. My memories of the Pappadeaux's in Dallas (ordering from the menu) is much more positive. My drink though Purple Voodoo was wonderful.

We stopped in for a special occasion. 2 of us each had a different Salmon entree and they were the best we have had while living in the area. Highly recommend for freshness and flavor.

I have never been disappointed with the food at the Alpharetta Pappadeaux restaurant! I love the crab cakes and the Ettouffee! They also have a scrumptious lunch buffet with plenty of shrimp and fish that can't be beat!

My uncle insisted we try this particular restaurant in Alpharetta because it is the only location of this chain in the Atlanta area that offers a buffet. Though we had to drive 45 minutes to get there, it was worth the journey. The buffet offered a tantalizing selection of food, with the fried shrimp being some of the best I... More

The lump crab cakes are delicous. They are served on top of a lemon butter sauce with capers and crawfish. I would also recommend the seared sea scallops. Seared to perfection. Oh my my mouth is watering just thinking about it!

Their food always stands out...if you like gumbo , etouffee, fresh fish preparations topped with delicious toppings...you cannot go wrong with Pappadeaux. Hot, delicious, freshly prepared...really love this type of food and they do it consistently well. Their service is not their strength...hit or miss over many visits. It isn't bad and doesn't stop me from going. The atmosphere delivers... More

I was overall fairly disappointed in my recent visit. I am a long time Pappadeaux diner across various properties throughout the South. The highlight of my visit was the food and the welcome upon seating (nice young gentleman who provided pleasant conversation while being escorted to my table). The downside was the waitstaff once I was seated. It took 10+... More

Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon and got the buffet. Had a great selection and the food was great. Servers kept our drinks full and plates cleared away. I would definitely come back.
