Moved to Cumming from Atlanta and am hard pressed for a top notch, white table cloth, establishment out here in the Woods. Ray's did not let me down when I wanted to take my Wife out to celebrate her birthday. The place is beautiful, the service was great and the food was perfect. There was live music in the bar... More

My family was looking for a great place to celebrate my birthday Sept 20, 2014. We stumbled up on Ray's and loved the atmosphere so we decided to come back on the 20th for the celebration. We were greeted with such a friendly staff/servers. Wow, this is great! The beverages were good, breads good, salads were good and now to... More

I recently went here on a business dinner. I have strict dietary needs, and the chef actually called me and asked me what my needs were so that he could prepare a special meal for me. I thought this was very kind and accommodating of this restaurant. They brought me two stuffed peppers with grilled vegetables and smothered in a... More

We dined at this restaurant last night and it was absolutely wonderful. When we started out at the bar, the bartender was very attentive and really new his wine list. Once, we sat down the manager, Adam made sure that we were taken care of and really made us feel welcome. We started out with an app of the goat... More

I am glad that this place is as close to my house as it is. This way I can get to napping a lot quicker after Sunday brunch without falling asleep at the wheel! We fancy all of the Ray's, City, River, and this, the Creek. When this place was simply, Killer Creek, we used to visit for the steaks... More

Was there for a business dinner in a private room. First thing they brought out was a fabulous seafood platter. Mahi Mahi was one of the special's for that night and it was perfect. Service and Food was very good. You know a restaurant is good when you get there early and it's already packed.

I have going to Ray's Killer Creek and Ray's on The River for 20+ years. Tonight was an off night. Our steaks and baked potatoes were barely warm. Not what I would expect from this restaurant.

In the Atlanta area for fly fishing and Ole Miss ball game; got hungry! My fishing guide recommended Ray's on the River and we took his advice. Our first experience with one of the "Ray's" restaurants! First, a beautiful restaurant that had the appearance of a mountain lodge and the smell of fresh outdoors plus new wood! Mixed with that... Our waiter disappeared on several occasions, did not bring bread or refill water. Three people in our party ordered the pecan crusted trout. It had absolutely no flavor. Served on a big pile of equally flavorless grits and burned brussel sprouts. It was literally inedible. The waiter never came to the table to check on how everything turned out. 3... More
