In the Atlanta area for fly fishing and Ole Miss ball game; got hungry! My fishing guide recommended Ray's on the River and we took his advice. Our first experience with one of the "Ray's" restaurants! First, a beautiful restaurant that had the appearance of a mountain lodge and the smell of fresh outdoors plus new wood! Mixed with that... Our waiter disappeared on several occasions, did not bring bread or refill water. Three people in our party ordered the pecan crusted trout. It had absolutely no flavor. Served on a big pile of equally flavorless grits and burned brussel sprouts. It was literally inedible. The waiter never came to the table to check on how everything turned out. 3... More

We were looking for someplace different for lunch and saw Ray's. We thought we would try it, we walked in and saw it was a buffet and almost walked out, but so glad we did not. The Sunday Brunch buffet was amazing! Every kind of breakfast food you could think of (including homemade biscuits, homemade sausage gravy ( not that... More

This was my first visit to Ray's on he Creek---I was looking forward to it because of a review I saw on Atlanta Eats; and, also, because I just came from seeing "The Hundred Foot Journey" (a movie about food)---I was starving! Food-wise, what a disappointment. I ordered the unstuffed salmon w/blue crab. While I like my fish cooked through,... More

We have been eating at Ray's Killer Creek for 13 years. I did not realize it had changed its name and ownership. That explains a LOT! Normally when you pay a premium for more formal, finer dining you are getting all the perks that justify the extra cost--impeccable service, delicious food, and great ambiance. Killer Creek had all that for... More

Had a dinner meeting here while I was in town for work. The restaurant is decorated very much to my liking and taste. The Cosmo is a must try. The food and staff were great and we enjoyed our dining experience. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Traveled to the Alpharetta area for a week baseball tournament with my son and decided to take him out to what I thought would be a nice dinner knowing Ray's concepts reputation from the past.. Two words, "Very Disappointed"..... Yes, we went on a Sunday night around 8 PM (They close at 9 PM) but the service and whole experience... More

What a wonderful afternoon we had celebrating my daughter-in-laws "almost" 40th surprise birthday. We had a wonder private room, with personalized menus and fabulous service. Food was outstanding. Thanks ladies for making this an event to remember.

One of the better 'Ray's' locations. Solid surf & turf meal worth every penny. Nice outdoor section for small groups.

I love this place! The atmosphere is beautiful, and the food is always wonderful as well! I usually get the catch of the day, and it is always fresh and well prepared. The salads and desserts are excellent, and I have tried most of them. This is a great place for a celebration or just to meet friends for lunch.... More
