Rocky start, good recovery

We went on the 4th of July for their lobster special only to be told that they were out of lobster. After adjusting our taste buds we ordered the crab cakes (him) and the ribs (me) with a calamari appetizer. The appetizer as well as the entrees were huge portions - if you are a light eater I... read more

I have been here with my company on 2 different corporate dinners and both meals were excellent, in both service and food. Quality is outstanding. Did the Easter Brunch several years ago and had some of the best cheese grits I have ever had. My husband and I recently went for an early anniversary dinner and took advantage of the... More

One of our favorite steak and seafood restaurants in the area. Ray's alway delivers an excellent meal and their cocktails/wine selection is superb. The place could use some freshening up, but the lodgy feel is there and it is warm and cozy. If you are Grouper fan, you will be in for a surprise..it is truly superb!

Visited Ray's for first time as part of a work group. Excellent, professional service, great drinks menu and rib eye steak was as good as I've had. This is a very polished, well run establishment with a nice ambiance. Perfect for entertaining and special occasions

In town from Texas to celebrate a good friends birthday and we made reservations at Ray's. The air conditioning was out and the restaurant was very hot. When we arrived, there was nothing said by staff or management about the heat. We asked why it was so hot and got nowhere. We were all drinking water and got no refills.... More

My husband and I enjoy Ray's for special occasions because the restaurant is what I would describe as casual upscale. The plates are beautiful and the food is above average. Although it is not a restaurant we frequent, it is a great choice for Father's Day or a celebratory event.

Came here for a company meeting and lunch. The Prime rib was so tough and fat we could not eat it. The wait staff was less than friendly. The sides ( mashed potatoes) were cold and the cheese cake was so plain it could have come from any grocery store frozen food section. I was so disappointed!!

We visited on a Friday night, however the restaurant was not packed. The building looks dull from the outside but don't be fooled, once inside the ambience and attention to detail are excellent, even down to mouthwash in the restrooms. We visited with neighbours who are regulars at other Rays locations and are fans of these establishments. I started with... More

I have been eating at Ray's for many years. They are always excellent. This last time I had the Prime Rib and it was amazing. I believe my wife had a seafood dish, possibly crab cakes and she love it. Ray's on the River is just as good, but with more atmosphere and the Chattahoochee River running in it's yard.... More
