I have been there multiple times for their weekend buffet. I really like the varieties of north as well as south Indian food varieties they have.

We came here after a tiring 8hrs drive.. Service was good.. Smiling face.. Food was served within reasonable wait time.. We had Medhu vada, veg biriyani, veg chettinad uthappam, fish curry n parata. It was tasty.. Yumm..! Spice level was Indian hot.. So u dont really have to mention 'extra spicy' to make it Indian standard.. However the parata was... More

Very modern looking. LArge selections on the buffets. I've tried most of the hot dishes along with the salad. Tasty! I especially like the tandoora and egg plant dish. They had a special 'holy' drink available for tasting today. It was very interesting. It consists of milk and spices. I wasn't used to drinking it. So I just had a... More

Been in 4 states in US. And this place serves best indian food I've seen outside india. It even beats lot of places... More

Most of their food tastes good and satisfying. The Uthappam and Chicken Curry are the best combination. Biryani is average as in any Indian restaurant. Their Pista Kulfi is the best ever. It's so good. They also have buffet. The ambience is average and service is as good as any restaurant in chennai. So of you are taking your clients,... More

First, no one smiled or was friendly when we entered for dinner. Second, I am told the machine is broken, so I cannot have masala tea. Huh? Why do they need a machine to make masala tea? Boiling water is all that's required. Food came out quickly. Sauces were very tasty. Server did not ask how spicy we wanted the... More

The owners are super cheap...I took a guest from NJ for a buffet at around 2:30 PM. Tthey never told us that they ran out of food. I would have loved not to eat there if they had told me that they ran out of food. On complaining the person at the counter simply said "Sorry". I have never seen... More

I have been to this restaurant a few times. The food is excellent. It is a buffet with a wide variety of dishes. I am impressed that they keep all of the vegetarian dishes on one island and the meat dishes on another. The dessert is good and also they add a few dishes that the kids can enjoy, like... More

First of all, the restaurant is actually called Madras Chettinaad, which may be more helpful when searching for its website online, where you can peruse the menu. We went on Thanksgiving for dinner, and were pleased. The food is very reasonably priced, with chicken curries running around $11, and that includes rice and papadum. One of us ordered the chicken...
