Hate to say have past by this restaurant many many times while commuting between Atlanta and Savannah, what a mistake, that will not happen again! Food is awesome!
I have eaten here several times for lunch and never once been disappointed. The gyros are on point! And the curly fries are not to be missed with the dipping sauce. The gyros are monstrous, so I usually plan on skipping dinner when I lunch here.
I am not in the area often but when I am I make sure to stop by and eat here. This is my favorite Greek food in Atlanta! I usually only make it by on a Saturday so it is usually slow (I used to go at lunch during the week when they were packed). I drag my husband with... More
Papouli's has become our favorite for a quick bite this summer as it is close by and their Gyro's are amazing for under $7. We also tried thier platters which also awesome if you need some side salad. Thier sweet treats (Buklava's) are to die for (literally). These days where can you get a quick meal under $7 with good... My daughter and I came here after finding this cafe on scoutmob. Our usual gyro place closed and we have been on the hunt for a new one. We found it! Papouli's gyros are very generous in size (we split one) and are delicious! Best we have found in the area. They come stacked with lettuce and tomato, which you... More
We love Papouli's! The staff is friendly and accommodating. One of the hidden treasures on the menu is the eggplant gyro, full of veggies and tzatsiki sauce. We also add gyro meet to this sandwich and it is truly an indescribable wonder! The avgolomeno soup is also top notch.
Great salads and Gyro. Been coming here for years and it has not disappointed me ever. The same owners/managers are always there and they want to ensure you are satisfied. It's always very crowded at lunch. Give them a try.
We stopped in at lunchtime looking to avoid all the franchise places on Windward Pkwy. It's a nice place. Although you order at the counter, there's ample seating with subdued lighting and Greek music playing in the background. Gyros for my husband and me. Not the best I've ever had - that was in Genoa, Italy - but very generous... More
I've enjoyed the yia yia salad here twice. It's a Greek salad with gyro meat. A generous to go portion spills out of the container and the meat, feta, and tomatoes are perfect. Vinaigrette and tzatziki on the side. Yum. Cafe style eatery with quick take away service and deliciousness.
