This is Acworth's best kept lunch secret. A true down home country buffet. Think of a meat and three, but all you can eat. The fried chicken is to die for, vegetables and cobbler options vary throughout the week but you can always count on the chicken, and the "treat you like you're family" service. Cash only. ATM inside. You... More

Even if it is just Hon or Dear....great down home breakfast buffet where the local politicians and civic leaders hash out city business...the place is a home as you can get. Good heavy hashbrowns, sausage both patty and link, BACON and biscuits and gravy . Strong coffee or sweet tea it just don't get any better.. Not much to look... More

This little gem is about two miles off the interstate but well worth the exploring. I have not had many southern meals, But the Fried Chicken or the corn bread dressing are quite simply amazing. We chanced on this little roadside cafe and we are always skeptical of buffet meals. The place was full of locals who were called by... More

This is where we went to try their breakfast buffet. It is all you can eat--the two of us ate for $14 including drink. Lots of fresh fruit, eggs, french toast sticks, potatoes and other breakfast fare. Nothing awesome tasting--more like going to a friends house. Just average breakfast food. Waitress was not super friendly or attentive but sufficient.

Remember, it's 'country kitchen'. Their menu is as basic as it gets and the service has always been pleasant. I've only eaten breakfast here and have found it's a good alternative to the packed Waffle Houses in the area. They do offer a buffett for breakfast and dinner (which I haven't tried yet) but will attempt when the mood hits... More

From the outside, you might be inclined to drive on....but take a chance and stop in. You are greeted by " grab a plate and get started" attitude. $7 all you can eat breakfast. Fruit (some fresh, some canned), cottage cheese, scrambled eggs (real eggs, moist and yummy), different potatoes (casserole, hash browns, fried potatoes), meats (bacon, sausage, etc.) and... More

We were in this town on a gas stop. Checked Trip advisor and thought give it a shot. We arrived at about 2:30 in the afternoon. We saw the buffet as we walked in and said, that looks good! The waitress said it is! We all decided to go with it. (You can also order from a menu) The fried... More

I want to start out with saying..... This is not a fancy restaurant. They do not take anything but cash. Lunch is $7 including tea. Don't expect the Ritz Carlton here. Now, I want to say what a quirky, quaint experience this is. They serve buffet style, always have the best fried chicken out, and 2 other meats. They could... More

Daddy's is home cooking for sure, but the seating is lousy - especially when they're really busy, which is much of the time. Also, the menu doesn't change much from day-to-day, so we don't visit that often. The stuffing is consistently great, and the cobblers are worth the trip. I just wish they'd enlarge the dining room for the comfort... More
