We had a party of 30, were seated quickly on a Saturday night with amazing southern hospitality and the best BBQ. The smokey aroma was captured on the plate in the baby back ribs. One of the parents savored each bite of the fried corn. Hope we play close by so we can come back soon!!

Arrived at 1930 and the place closed at 2000 but that didn,t bother even the fact that we where an 8 seater the food was delicious the rack of ribs was a big deal especially when she mentioned the desert so Boxed up what was left of the ribs so I could have room for the banana pudding and for... Never had anything bad here! Baked beans are out of this world, and the loaded baked potato is also a favorite. Good service, too. Check around local advertising because they frequently have coupons available.

And wonderful unsweet ice-tea. The portions were large enough to be happy with the prices. We are BBQ snobs and travel the USA looking for that special Q and sauce. This wasn't it- but it wasn't awful. Brisket IS good, but the wood smoke didn't come thru right on the chicken and the pork was just bland. They have an... More

JD's is great local Acworth BBQ. They do Brisket as good as I have ever had and the Spicy BBQ Wings are awesome. I get the 2 Meat Plate with Brisket, Wings, Fried Corn, Fries, and Garlic Bread. You won't be disappointed.

Portions on the small side and the value is not so good. The taste is average for bbq here. Most menu items can be easily found anywhere.

When we want good BBQ this is the place we visit. Good "smoked" meats including pork, ribs, chicken, and beef. Fried okra is a must have. Brunswick stew and beans are average. Overall this is a good place for BBQ and the fixins.

This is a good joint with some neat atmosphere. For example, the glasses look like mason jars, and a lot of the interior is done up with old antiques. Friendly people; most of your servers will be girls in their teens or twenties (not always, but usually). The main dining room has a high ceiling (used to be a dance... More

We were in the area and short on time, so we stopped in at JD's to try it out. Service was great - friendly and attentive. We both ordered jumbo pulled pork sandwiches and brunswick stew. The pork had no flavor AT ALL - none. No smoke, no seasoning, and it wasn't even cooked enough. The fat that's usually blackened... More
