Last visit 7/3/14, wing night. Arrived shortly after 8PM. Closing time was 9PM. Understaffed and out of several items including WINGS. Watched many people arrive after our party of 10, get served, and leave while we still hadn't even placed our orders. Cleared our own table. Then food came out a couple at a time resulting in the last two... More

Well, I would not go so far as some other reviews on the bad stuff. It was defiantly not that bad. It was actually decent. The oysters however were not salty at all. The staff was friendly and attentive. The inside restaurant needs a makeover, but the desk is nice. Mahi was very good as were the fries. Come for... More

I won’t be back the servers are good however the management and owner Robert are jerks. The kitchen could not get the food out together and the last party in our group was served 20 minutes after everyone else received their food. When I complained to the owner Robert I was told not to come back and that he shouldn’t... More

We've eaten at Acworth Fish Camp a few times. The first time we waited for 20 minutes before anyone helped us. We were just getting ready to leave. The owner actually helped us out. She is very nice and made sure someone got to us ASAP. The servers always seem rushed. Food is bar food: burgers, sandwiches, fried shrimp/oyster baskets.... More

The only thing good is the desert which is apple cobbler with ice creame. The slaw is not made fresh - it's the pre packaged stuff. The hamburgers are burnt even if you want it medium rare. Shrimp are really small; oysters were OK. The cheese, bacon and tomatoe sandwish is about the best thing to get. They have a... More

Great view! I would agree with the other reviews on this one. I've been there three times and each time it seemed like a different place?? Good place to get a beer, enjoy the view and munch some bar food. Service is mediocre, but about what you would expect at a place like this on the lake. As long as... More

Oysters are good, shrimp not so good, hamburger burnt. Service was mediocre. Serves beer except on Sunday (but you can carry in on Sunday). Have not tried the fish sandwich.

Had the blackened grouper sandwich, while sitting on the deck, watching the sun go down over the lake.

My first thought about the place is that " a glorious lack of sophistication" (as Jeff Foxworthy would say) abounds. But, we've tried all the places on the lake, and all of them are pretty similar. There isn't anything nice like, say a "Chart House" on the lake, anywhere. And, since this is the closest restaurant to our marina, we... More

Dont go and expect fine dining Expect local fun on the lake. Its our weekend tradition to dock our boat and eat there. Family friendly staff is friendly. Blackened fish sandwich is best I've had anywhere. Burgers are very good. Portions are big!
