Housed in a historic house in Acworth, the Dogwood Terrace is perhaps overpriced for its food. Service is excellent, seating is on two levels. The food is neither outstanding nor bad. Chicken salad on a bed of lettuce with iced tea and bread/butter. Dessert was fruit. The several times I've been there, it has had a steady flow of customers.... More

Well we went looking elsewhere for our anniversary and ended up here cause everything else was closed. We were surprised t the atmosphere and the wonderful entrees we selected. It was a memorable night. The hostess created a private area For my husband and I and they served us a bottle of champagne and made us feel special. It is... More

I live in Acworth so thought we'd give the Dogwood another try. Food was great but pricey for what you get and the atmosphere isn't upscale to demand the cost. I would eat there again if someone else paid the bill.

I hosted and arranged for a "private" bridal luncheon for 15 people well in advance - with the promise of "extras" and really got nothing extra at all. First, the arrangements which were made via phone and email did not go terribly smoothly due to the regular unavailability of the various employees who were in charge of organizing such things.... When we first waked in I noticed how wonderful and cozy the atmosphere was, so I was very excited to try a new place. Our crab cake appetizer was good and the ribs weren't bad if you like a sweet sauce (they were very tender). Unfortunately, the table side salad was not much to brag about. It was bland and... More

I have always enjoyed their menu. There is a variety of seafood and steaks. There are usually specials and I enjoy them as well. There is always friendly service. We have used them in the past to host a rehearsal party for 40 and were just as satisfied. You need the address since it is in an old house and... More

We liked this place. They arent certainly used to crowds, but the personnel seems to really like the place and we felt well attended by those young servers trying to do their best Location and decoration are great Meals are just ok I recommend it and would go back

When we arrived, there were 3 tables in the entire restaurant. One of them paid, received their change, and left while we were waiting to be severed. The server walked by us 3 times without acknowledging us at all. She even spoke to the hostess who was sitting down relaxing. It was if we were invisible until I stood up... More

Do not go here. Service was almost non existant. Extremely short handed and basically ignored. Group of twelve and they were informed. Were not pleased we preferred to order off menu. Many salads ordered which do not take much time to prepare. Waited about 45min. and actually had to ask several times if our meals were being prepared. Once delivered... More

I don't normally write reviews but I had read a few negative ones about this restaurant and felt like I needed to add mine. I went with a couple of my girlfriends on a Friday night. I have never been to the Dogwood Terrace before and based on some reviews wasn't totally sure what to expect. I was very pleasantly... More
