The food was okay. It seemed pre-made and microwaved, but still tasted good. Service was great and very quick! Nice open feeling.

Saw raving reviews on line and looked forward to lunch. My cheese enchilada was cheese melted in a tortilla; something I could make at home. The young waitress sat at a table talking to a man and I continued to wait for her to wait...on me. The place was empty and I was the only one she had but she couldn’t remember what I ordered. Will not return.More
This place was amazing, our server was awesome! She took good care of us and engaged us in friendly conversation. The food was delicious and the portions were so large we couldn’t eat it all and when I got the bill, I told the cashier...it had to be wrong because the price was so low compared to how much food they brought us. Great service, great food, great price! Highly recommend this place!More
Eaten Mexican food all over this country and this was hands down the worst! Save your money! Taco Bell is hundred times better and I’m not a fan of Taco Bell. Do NOT recommend!
I would have opted for a 3.5 rating if it were available. We selected this restaurant because it was near where we were staying, they had a nice menu and decent on-line ratings. We called ahead of arrival and ensured they could handle my wife’s...dairy allergy. Our server was very good and helped my wife make selections that were available to be modified to avoid dairy. I had the two burrito (one steak and one chicken) dinner with rice and beans. The burritos were a little ‘plain’ but the beans were excellent and the chips a salsa very good. Neither of us could finish the ample portions of food and took leftovers with us. The margarita tasted like it came from a pre-mixed bottle, but, Happy Hour price was only $3.99, so…. Pricing for our meals was fair. I’d go back, but try something different.More
Stopped for a night passing through, and we were craving Mexican. Standard menu options and they certainly didn’t disappoint with the chimichangas and enchiladas. Chips were hot and salsa was excellent- heads up though…you only get 1 complimentary for the table. Didn’t bother us too...much as the servings sizes for entrees are large! Everything was delicious!More
Very friendly staff! The food is reasonable and delicious! Very nice to see a local establishment make it through covid! Please support as the"little guys" are being crushed! They deserve the support for delicious food and family atmosphere alone!
I have nothing good to say about this place! I wanted to love it after reading good reviews but I found the food terrible! I ordered the Burrito Supreme which consisted of 2 Tortillas one filled with steak the other chicken both were extremely dry...and over cooked! That was it nothing else in a Burrito Supreme! Meat and a Tortilla! There was a small spoonful of a purified dark green guacamole sauce! Why would you purify guacamole?? It also came with rice and the refried beans which was the best part of the dish! I won’t be back as there are far too many far better tasty Mexican restaurants in the area! To name one, Cantina Louies makes this place look like the minor leagues! The customer service was ok but unremarkable!More
I have eaten here several time during my stay here in Jacksonville. Their salsa is amazing! Probably the best I've ever had. Food is good and plentiful. I would recommend this resturant. They are however closed on Sundays.
What a great discovery. Friendly and fast customer service. Food was quick, hot and flavourful. Potions exceeded expectation especially the shrimp quesadilla which is stuffed with more shrimp than vegetables and cooked to perfection. You can’t beat the price and value . Worth a try.
Average at best. Hard to find good Mexican food at the beach. Why go out if I can make it better at home?
Had to come out of retirement for this one. Don’t know where these 4 and 5 stars come from. This could be the worst Mexican restaurant we have been to. Service was slow and the waiter was less than helpful with the menu. Margaritas were...worse than bottled premix. Wife’s fish tacos were OK (come on this is Mayport fish tacos should be outstanding), My Burrito was awful. Never had a burrito like it-all the dressings or toppings were on the inside. The meat was steak But it tasted like road kill. Really, really bad experience.More
My hubby got this recommendation from a friend of his. I had passed by a million times and never thought about stopping in. So on the way in, one of the regulars starting talking to us. Mayport beach part of Atlantic beach is a tight...knit community so everyone is neighborly. We got a booth and got food ordered. I ordered the shrimp 🍤 tacos 🌮. Was SO yummy!! We will definitely go back and maybe take our kids.More
This restaurant did not live up to the hype surrounding it. Beef chimichangas were bland, rice was non-descript... refried beans were creamy and flavorful. Chicken Chilequiles were ordered without regional scrambled eggs added. Chicken had a nice flavor, texture and moistness.... but the fried tortillas...were far too heavily seasoned with an extremely spicy red sauce of some sort. It totally overwhelmed the dish and made it unenjoyable. Margarita was nice. Service was attentive, atmosphere was family-friendly, but we won't return.More
Had lunch here the other day. I had the chicken enchiladas suiza. The chicken inside was dry and no sauce at all except on top, which was a green sauce that was pretty tasteless and some crumbled queso that was cold. The beans and rice...were ordinary. Chips needed salt and the salsa also could have used more seasonings. Our friends had the fajitas and they smelled and looked good. We did have some queso with beans and chorizo that was tasty. I'd give them another chance but would probably just order the fajitas.More
