We had ordered take out on several of our jax trips and this time we ate inside. It was just great. Great atmosphere, excellent service, easy to hold conversation and be heard. I will always make sure I stop here for dinner on my jax trips. Portions are very generous.

I can't say enough about this place, lets just say they know me and what I like to eat there (which as I read is kinda embarrassing ). The thirsty thursdays is the best, $1 house wine and yuengling and the service is always spot on. Whether i sit inside, outside or take out Al's is always where I get... More

I must say the food & service was excellent! Plus, I enjoy being outside to enjoy the beach scene and a excellent meal with friends. I will definitely be back for some excellent food, service, and a nice atmosphere. I hope you all enjoy your meal at Al's Pizza!

Very disappointed. Crust, sauce, and cheese. The 3 things that I value most in a good pizza, were all missing. A good Italian establishment in this area would do extremely well! We wont be back any time soon.

We've eaten at Al's plenty of times, at various locations around the city. I called today to order 8 16" pies for a party (no delivery, so I'd have to pick them up). I inquired about quantity price breaks and the young woman who answered the phone put me on hold briefly to talk to a manager. She came back... More

Al's is always packed, but it's a mystery to me why. I've had better pizza from the freezer, service is indifferent at best, and tables are crammed so close you're bound to get jostled while you're trying to eat. It's popular with families.

From the salads, appetizers, single slices, full pizzas, drinks, and pastas ... All good. It's super slammed on "Thirsty Thursdays" the bar seats around 10+ people. Great customer service

Al's never fails to impress. Food, pizza, drinks are all good. Plus you're at the beach so you can go out and walk around when you're done eating.

Reasonable price for 4 of us. But none of us clean our plates. Pizza was nothing special and pasta sauce was more on bland side. This would be a good place for family with young children. There is nothing "wrong" with food here it was just not our taste. We were disappointed.

Honestly, Al's wasn't a memorable experience for me. But it has a nice menu, with a number of tempting choices. Service was attentive without being intrusive, and cheerful. The dining room is attractive and modern-looking. And if not exactly memorable -- so what? I didn't come to the beach for pizza ... but when I go to the beach again,... More
