My husband and I had this restaurant recommended to us by a couple of people and we really looked forward to finally visiting it. I had already been forewarned through another tripadvisor review that it was going to be a "dive" type of restaurant and that much was certainly true. But the look of the place lends to the ambience... More

A true seafood shack on A1A at the south terminus of the Mayport Ferry. I have eaten here many times and keep coming back for one thing, and only one thing--a steamed fish sandwich (always excellent). Whatever fish they have in the fish market can be made into a sandwich; take your pick--I've never had a bad one. At times... More

Shack it certainly is. The building looks like it is falling apart. Walk with care inside. The view is nice. Lots on the water activity. The food is a surprise. It is rather good. Our lunch orders, shrimp and clam baskets were nicely prepared. Everyone was very pleased. The prices, for lunch, were reasonable. We would return again.

Saw Singleton's on DDD. Had to try since we were visiting the area. Price is well worth the portion and quality. Service was excellent! Be sure to sit outside to watch the pelicans and the cargo ships! Highly recommended!!!

Overall, this restaurant gets points for its service and most of its food, but loses them for price. Be sure to go there with the right fun attitude and don’t expect a ritzy restaurant. Singleton’s is definitely a shack…most walls are plywood nailed to 2x4’s. You sit at wooden picnic tables and use paper towels for napkins. But you can... More

Fresh and delicious seafood! NOT fancy, but the food is fresh and absolutely wonderful. Typical environment for a southern seafood shack, so don't expect fine wines and cloth napkins. Indoor seating is kind of sticky wooden benches and tables. Outdoor seating is shabby-charming overlooking the water. Food is served in baskets; drinks in styrofoam cups; Wine? What's that? Just kidding,... More

Out on a beautiful Sunday drive we decided to try Singleton's Seafood Shack. After living here over 20 years we'd heard about this place but never were anywhere near it. Sadly, it didn't live up to it's reputation. We sat on the deck overlooking the water and while the view was quite nice, the chairs were really uncomfortable and actual... More

The lunch menu is great and a good deal. Large portions at a good price. We took the ferry over just to eat there. Will go again

Every time I visit this restaurant I am not disappointed. The food is always awesome and made to order. The seafood is fresh and delicious. The staff are very friendly and attentive. I love dinning in this Mayport treasure.
