Singleton's has great seafood provided in generous portions. The menu has many choices. The restaurant is on the river and has nearby parking. Don't be turned away by the appearance of the structure. Food is very good and wait staff hustles to provide great service. It is possible to eat outside in a screened porch or on an uncovered deck.... More

This place is a little off the beaten track, but is oh so worth the trip. Be warned when you first get out of your car you are going to smell fish and sea. Not so great before you walk into a restaurant. But Do Not let that detour you! Go in! Order the fried oysters, catch of the day,... More

Last time we came to Singleton's, it was because Safe Harbor was closed. We haven't been back in a couple years because our last experience was not worth coming back. Today we decided to give it another shot because Safe Harbor was packed. MISTAKE! The place still looked dirty and dingy. Since it's the weekend, we had to go by... More

Oh yea! This is a good one. Right on the river. Great seafood with generous portions. Ordered a meal for two and have enough take home for another meal for both. You might even see a Carnival Cruise ship go by as you are eating. Both inside and outside are nice.

We figured this place was a normal type of seafood restaurant but it's far from it. You're served foam cups, foam dishes and plastic ware. Food was ok. Clam chowder , we all had bows, was too salty and not tasty. We're from new England so we know how chowder should taste. We had flounder and trigger fish wish was... More

All fresh seafood! Waitress was very friendly and efficient. Eating on the deck was a treat with a nice sea breeze. Great experience with son & daughter-in-law. A lot better than big chain restaurants.

Locals said eat here, so we tried it. Sometimes, the outside, of places, is deceiving. Not this place! Inside, our table was lopsided; flies everywhere; and my husband found a hair in his food. The best thing on my plate was the baked potato. Will not return to this place; there are better places, to eat, are along the beaches... More

The name says it all...it is certainly a shack! Meeting up with old friends and catching up is always delightful and this was definitely a great place to do it. The staff was wonderful and was leaving us to catch up. Stayed several hours and had a steady stream of friendly service. To the food. EVERYTHING was perfect. And as... More

I got fried fish and shrimp...first of all the fries and hush puppies were cold, must've been fried 30 min earlier. The puppies and fish were burnt. The shrimp were smaller than what I was fishing with, you would think being at Mayport they would have nice size shrimp, pitiful!! The ones in the display case were twice as big.... More
