Nice place to stop by for the music and scenery

This is a beautiful location on the river. Out of the way and can be reached by car, boat or plane. There is usually a band and they have boat rides, etc. Very laid back, bring your own chair and relax and enjoy the show. Must I say.. great, if you love the old florida style. Lots of fried fish and fries on the menu. Very rustic, and oldish. Good beer, and by they way, while you are here, stop in their little Florida museum. There is a boat launch, and dock. They also offer great tours on the Peace River. "Don't forget the Gator... You can get there by road, water or air. We usually take our boat up the Peace River. About 30 minutes upstream from the 41 bridge in Punta Gorda. The place is rustic with lots of old back woods charm. It is not large but they have a large outside eating area too. They often have live entertainment. The food... More

Cool atmosphere...food was good.....service was terrible....in fairness, I think they were short handed. I would give them another chance!

Best fish and homemade fries. Very friendly atmosphere, good service. Not a place to go if you are in a hurry. They let you know they are slow by their signs, nice outside seating in the sand. We go there every time we come to Port Charlotte.

Had a great time at the Navagator grill. We sat outside with our feet in the sand. Food was good. I had a fish sandwich with sweet potato fries. Very Yummy. Only thing is.....don't be in a hurry because they are slow and they advertise it. :) Very friendly place.

I liked the atmosphere with an outdoor dining area and live stage. Service wasn't too bad and while the food wasn't extraordinarily pricey, drinks and sides were. I had the grouper sandwich which was very good and my friend had coconut shrimp, which was excellent!

Maybe good for Florida tourists looking for old Florida atmosphere, but I'll skip the slow service, pricey menu and tough, chewey "super" clam strips. They used giant quahog clams cut into large strips. Being that big and old, of course they were as tough as conch meat. They must buy them to grind up in their chowder, but they just... More

We were traveling with our dog so were very happy he was welcome to sit outside with us while we ate and enjoyed music. Waitress brought him bowl of water and treats. Bring your laid back attitude and enjoy, it was very busy but with so many people visiting with us time flew..fish and chips was huge.

My wife and I hit this place on Valentines day after reading many positive reviews on Tripadvisor and we are sure glad we did. It seemed a little out of the way at first but once we were there and seated we quickly realized it was a good idea. We were a little apprehensive at first since the outdoor seating... More
