No frills but good food

I was staying in Apalachicola for a Music Festival nearby and was strolling downtown in the afternoon and decided to stop in for lunch. I am not a big seafood fan, so I ordered the BLT. Wow there was about a pound of bacon on there. OK, slight exaggeration but there was a lot. It was really tasty... read more

The location is a little odd in an old storefront but the food is tasty with specials that vary and consistent items on the regular menu. The Cajun seafood with red beans and rice was excellent. Coconut shrimp always pleases. Drinks, meh. Sort of weak. But we'll go back and have a beverage elsewhere.

My family of four adults went there for dinner. My son ordered the Worlds largest fried fish sandwich and it was delicious!!! My husband had the seafood gumbo, he loved it! !! My dil and I had the grilled grouper basket, it was delicious. The fries are seasoned and good, the potato salad was delicious! !! The death by chocolate... More

Average eatery. I was here before and loved it, but meal was mediocre at best. We ate lunch there didn't go back. Ate there three time before.

On our trip, the restaurant offered a unique entree. White beans, collards, cornbread and seafood. My husband said it was amazing. I just had the hamburger and it was run of the mill. Our waitress was not too pleasant, but they were crowded.

Good is about all I can muster. The food was good but nothing particularly noteworthy. The staff was efficient but could have been friendlier. Clean facilities, a little warm in the place for a mild March day if you ask me. I thought it was a little pricey for the quantity and quality of food too. We might give it... More

The restaurant is on the main road about two blocks from the shrimp docks. They have several tables outside. The service is excellent. We ordered the grouper blackened but it was more like bronzed. The fish was a little disappointing as the pieces were small and thin. The price was $16.99. It was fresh and tasted good. The desserts made... More

I wasn't thrilled with this restaurant at all for what you pay add a little more to it and go to the Best restaurant in town called Gormley's at Gibson Inn. food was outstanding so good you don't need tarter sauce. The Chef even came to our table and asked how we liked it!

We spent ten days on St. George Island, so we tried a number of the restaurants in Apalachicola. Apalachicola Seafood Grill had the best food and the lowest prices. The fried shrimp is lightly battered, so you taste the shrimp and not a heavy batter. My southern husband loved the special - fish, scallops, collard greens, beans, and cornbread. But... More

We go to St George Island for a week every year and we always stop here in Apalachicola for lunch one day. It is consistently delicious fried seafood. Their potato salad is TO DIE FOR good. Friendly wait staff and a nice selection of bottled beers (you can walk up to the cooler and pick out your own). Very kid... More
