If you do nothing else in this small town have a cup of traditional coffee and eat an arepas. Staff was super nice and walked us through the menu. You must try the peanut butter coffee!!!

This eclectic little Wi-Fi coffee shop is a favorite with locals. Tourists seem to love it too. The coffee is superb. I enjoyed coffeecake on my first visit & two small pastries on the second. My husband did not think the arepas quite lived up to its reputation, but really enjoyed the cinnamon roll he ordered on our second visit.... More

What better way to start your day off then at cafe con leche. It's a place where locals and toursist can enjoy a wonderful breakfast experience. The coffee is fresh and they have a decent selection same as any corporate coffee chain but in my oppinion, its better. The few times I went, the younger girls were very sweet and the... More

Great coffee and the same can be said for the pastries and breakfasts. We keep going back for more. This lady owns a couple restaurants in town.

Cafe con Leche is operated by the some wonderful owner as Tamara's on the "busy" street in town. This is a great place to sit outside, or in, and enjoy a great coffee along with some light lunch or breakfast. Surroundings and atmosphere are relaxing and eclectic. Like a combination of cafe, gift shop, and reading room with outside cafe... More

After spending so time photographing around the docks and waterfront this was a pleasant break over the coffee (dishwater) we had at our hotel. I had the Coffee con Leche and a home made scone. I toke a cinnamon sweet roll to my friend at the hotel and he raved about it. The restaurant was 75% full and more people,... More

More than a coffee shop. They serve breakfast too. The baked goods and pastries are delicious and we were there one day when they had sold out. You order at a small counter and if it's a small order you may carry it to a table yourself. Waitresses will bring big orders. This was the only place in Apalachicola where... More

Cafe con Leche is our goto spot when we visit St George Island / Apalachicola. The hosts are phenomenal - you know when the locals spend their time here that it is the ideal spot.

The beauty of Cafe con Lexhe is that you can have your wonderful cafe con Leche and still be able to eat a hot breakfast which you have not eaten North of the Mexican border. While the food is typically Venezuelan it has strong relations to Cuba, Colombia and Mexico. Your mouth will tingle first thing in the morning. Fresh... More
