Great service great Oysters.

Been here a few times this last year and love it. Just passing through on my way to Tampa and had to make a little detour. Craving them Chargrilled Oysters. Will be back in a few months with the family. Love everything about Boss oyster. Love the staff it's like coming home.

We went to lunch at Boss Oyster the other day. After waiting and waiting for a table, we finally got seated. Husband ordered a beer, I ordered Chardonnay. After quite a wait, the waitress came back with my husband's beer, and said 'no Chardonnay'. OK...I then ordered Pinot. Since we were waiting so long and so hungry, we went ahead... More

We did not eat there the day that we were in Apalachicola,FL. But we did visit the bar. We were lucky to get an experienced bartender . We watched others that came into the bar and were even more thankful for Stephanie. She was a jewel. Very pleasant and helpful. We will probably try to get back and try the... More

Took my wife, daughter and son-in-law to Boss on Friday for lunch. Drove down from Panama City Beach and the ride was enjoyable and scenic. Had a bit of a hard time finding Boss but that was our fault, not our GPS. It was a cool and windy day so we sat inside in a warm toasty room. Our server... More

The (new) wood-fire grilled oysters topped with parmesan were outrageously delicious! I ate a dozen for dinner! We plan to come here again for casual, riverside dining.

We had seen the Boss Oyster skiff coming up the river and figured this was the place for fresh Apalachicola oysters. Boy were we right. Excellent atmosphere, unbeatable view, Friendly staff and terrific oysters. Our only problem was deciding which of the multiple preparations to enjoy this time. We vowed to create opportunities to return.....and we're from Wyoming.

We came through here early summer in a month without an "R", and BTW, that's not an old wives tale and it was worth the wait. My first dozen were steamed but I requested no butter. They were too steamed and were kinda like dehydrated oysters---Oyster Chips--maybe they could start something new. I ate them altho shriveled, shrunken and dry... More

Can't find fresher oyster anywhere. Big and sweet. Their boats bring in the days catch. Always plan a stop here when going south. Great fish too.
