Here for the last week and ate here twice. Great as usual. The oysters were great had the chargrilled. Yummy. The service is fabulous. Thanks for a great lunch at The Boss.

We have always loved Boss Oyster, but we haven't been there for a couple of years. We were so disappointed...the oysters were teeny, and emaciated. The chargrilled parmesan oysters were terrible. The waitress and ambiance were as expected, but it wasn't enough.

We used to go to Boss Oyster several times a year, counting on fresh oysters and good fish baskets. No more. It's been going downhill for a few years now, but today was one of the worst meals of our lives. The grouper basket was drowning in oil - so much that even after placing multiple napkins on the bottom... More

krashtestd,I do not get it. I look at your two pictures. You ordered fried seafood. Looks o.k. to me. The picture of the salad you described is actually kale, a garnish. The rest of your review is false and contrived. From there you go on and on. "When ignorance gets started it knows no bounds." Will Rodgers. We are excited here.... More

We had heard so much about this place and we were not disappointed. The oysters here were delicious and they had so much variety in the ways that they were prepared. So worth the trip. We were able to sit out over the water while we ate, what a view.

I have been eating oysters for 40 years, and have had plenty of Apalachicola oysters, but never have I had oysters like these. The only way you could get a fresher oyster would be to go out on their oyster boat and shuck one as they pull it up. Tasted of the sea in the very best way.

so boy, Thanks for your review, "The best oyster I have ever eaten". "We treasure this gulf coast oyster". The Apalachicola oyster is the tastiest oyster on the planet.Harvesting the oyster is an exact science.Treat this oyster with "kid gloves". Ensure the taste on the pristine waters is preserved from capture to table. That is the whole ballgame. Pristine oysters.... More

High priced for the value. Cleanliness an issue and lots of birds sitting on tables and chairs that customers were seated at later.

My husband and I stopped off here on the way home from Orlando to Panama City. The waitress told us the oyster basket is $15 which included a side. She failed to tell us the side is another $2 !! I do not appreciate these kinds of hidden fees.

This was a return visit to Apalachicola while on this vacation. On our first stopover we had heard about Boss, and this was on our list for return visit. We got two dozen oysters, each dozen served on a tray of ice. They were some of the best we've had. Fresh, clean, rich, slightly briny - all words to describe... More

We went to Apalachicola to eat oysters...this place knows oysters!! During our stay, we ate 3 meals here...all were amazingly good! We had oysters raw, steamed, fried, grilled & baked with Parmesan & butter (my favorite)!! Not a fine-dining place...You can sit outside (dogs are welcome), inside, or in a porch covered in plastic (in cooler weather.) The wait staff... More
