WOW. Read an article about Apalachicola that mentioned Boss Oyster, so had to try it. Had a sandwich that combined fried oysters, bay scallops and bay shrimp with an olive tampanad that was delushious! More than large enough for two to share, it was a great way to sample oysters for the first time. Loved them. Restaurant is on the... More

There was a line out the door for lunch, so my companion and I tried another Apalachicola place where the waitress told us "everyone in town was out of oysters." We left after a beer and got in line. We were first seated in a large, open, in-door room and said we would wait for a table on the water... More

Well I said our second trip would be our last but we gave them another chance . The food is below fast food expectation and overpriced . Soggy and cold when delivered to the table and bland at best . Don't waste your evenings at this place.

Must have been the time of day, early afternoon. They were between the Lunch and Dinner crowd and were very inattentive to the guests. Food was okay ,nothing special.

This is touted as one of the top ten oyster bars in US. Maybe if I hadn't expected such grand things, I wouldn't have been disappointed. The experience was disappointing. We ordered a frozen drink and were told the blender was broken. As we listened to other servers they explained to other disappointed diners that the blender had been broken... More

This seems to be where the locals go. Nice outside tables on the water. Oysters are the star of the show but nice fresh fish and shrimp as well.

Wish I had read reviews. Love places like this however service and cleanliness were HORRIBLE. Servers table coverage area was to far apart and they were not working together as a team. As a former server if the servers had worked more as a unit it would have been a much more pleasant dining experience.

Good oysters, good service, good times. Our waitress was very friendly, and thefood came out very quickly. We ordered more oysters (Key West baked). We really enjoyed our dinning experience and recommend this bay side restaurant.

Despite some of the reviews, we went for the "many choice" menu we saw @ our B&B, but didn't expect the poor & haphazard attention & service. My husband's baked oysters were tiny (and apparently shucked earlier in the day and placed in a tub, say locals). My lemon pepper shrimp were rubbery and didn't sit well in my stomach.... More

This place was legit. Great food. Awesome warehouse style atmosphere right on the water. Our server Jackie was awesome!
