Great Breakfast

Great breakfast! We sat outside at the little cafe tables and ordered Blueberry Pancakes with ham and also a breakfast wrap. Both were inexpensive ($6-7) and very good and filling. Great place to grab a bite!

We use to love to eat here. This year we were really disappointed. The shrimp cocktail was 10.00 for 5 shrimp. We bought a pd of shrimp for 7.50. The tuna was overlooked. The rice was undercooked. The portions are small and prices are high compared to the previous years. We were really let down. We are not sure we... More

We chose Tamara's for a family reunion dinner while staying on St. George Island. So disappointing to say the least. From the moment we entered the restaurant we were treated so rudely, constantly being reminded what time they closed and we needed to hurry and order. The waitress, "Margie", rushed us through our ordering and was totally ignoring our needs... More

We liked it so much we ate there 2 nights in a row. The second night we had a very rude waitress. Its a shame as a server can really change the dynamics of your dining experience. I hope for the establishments sake she doesn't deter others from going back.

Tamara's black bean soup was great and the grouper cheeks were pretty good. The fried oysters were yummy! The waitress was friendly and kind. The paella was a disappointment. Very little flavor, just a big plate of rice with a little seafood on top. The steak was good after being sent back to the kitchen for being over cooked. My... More

This was recommended by a clothing shop owner. I had the Twin Peaks salad (chicken salad / tuna salad) while my wife had the crab cake salad. Both were great but the crab cake was huge & phenomenal. I liked that the chicken & tuna salad were seasoned differently & had 2 different tastes. The greens on both salads were... More

we ended up at tamara's on a sunday afternoon, mainly because other restaurants were very busy. things that went wrong: waitress was not friendly and looked as though she wanted to be somewhere else; took forever to get our food (the restaurant was not full); we were a party of 4 and only 2 plates were brought out to begin... While the food was good, I could not say it was excellent. The ambiance was fine, the welcome warm, but the service was terrible. We were a large party of 13, we did have reservations. Once our waitress had our order, seems we were forgotten. Some of our drinks never arrived, some orders were mixed up, we could not even... More

You can't miss with the warm and friendly service in this cozy downtown Apalachicola restaurant. The decor and menu is different that most anything you'll excperience on the gulf coast...almost a vacation from your vacation. The menu features a nice blend of choices - seafood if you want or meat and chicken, plus what looked like some good vegetarian selections.... More
