Delicious dinner!

My family and our friends visited Tamara's for a weeknight dinner. Restaurant was half full so no wait. Beer selection was good. Many fresh fish dishes on the menu. Seafood paella was great, as was the Pompano pasta dish. Service was friendly but not knowledgeable about the menu. Very nice... read more

We stopped here for lunch one day during our vacation in the area. We always try to get here one time during our stay. It is always good. This time my wife had fish tacos, and I had the grouper sandwich. Both were mouth watering and delicious. The pair of Fish Tacos were served with tortilla chips and had a... More

We loved this place. It has great atmosphere, outstanding service, and the food was excellent at a great price. We can't wait to go again soon.

It's been a while since I had been in Tamara's, and I have enjoyed the times I have been there each time. Today we were in for a light supper and I ordered an appetizer of some fried oysters and had a cup of the black bean soup. As expected, both were excellent. The oysters were fried to perfection with... More

My family and I visited Tamara's for a Sunday brunch. Our food was pretty delicious, especially when compared to other touristy restaurants, but the service was only OK and they weren't even that busy. The key lime pie was delicious!

A real pleasant change for batter dipped and fried dinners that where prevalent in many of the Apalachicola restaurants. I had a delicious pan-fried snapper with grilled shrimp. My friend had sheared scallops that he enjoyed. I quiet restaurant with a nice atmosphere and old restaurant charm.

The food in Tamara's is so good we were going "yum" all through dinner. The portions were large, but we did manage to split a delicious and unique dessert. The service is unbelievable! Friendly and efficient. I could be guilty of overkill in praising this restaurant and our experience in it.

Tamara's Floridita is a wonderful combination of Southern and Latin foods. From the delightful chef and owner Danny Izkovitz (who also runs Tapas next door) te menu is delightful and, whimsical. Great soups. My favorite is the blackened grouper and the black bean soup. The service is excellent. Enjoy it.
