While taking a break from a beach house full of kids, we wandered through the shops and streets of Apalachicola and stumbled upon the delightful Tamara's. We shared a delicious bowl of creamy corn chowder to start. My husband enjoyed a salmon salad with spinach and strawberries with a balsamic vinaigrette dressing. The salmon was grilled to perfection. I had... More

Wonderful breakfast! Great location if you are walking around Apalachicola, For lunch, the salmon salad with spinach, strawberries, grapes in the mix, fresh and yum. Sit at the high top tables in the front window and watch people go by, then walk a few doors down and buy a piece of chocolate at the candy store. Perfect!

This beautiful area has a few restaurants getting better every year and many getting worse. Worse goes to Boss Oyster, Caroline's, Eddie Teach's, and Blue Parrot. All horrible and once was decent to great. Better goes to Tamara's, Up The Creek, Up The Stairs "new", and Hole in the wall. Tamara's had great fish taco's. Snapper and my fav the... More

Ordered the fish tacos. Not impressed considering we waited a while for the food to be served. Fish tacos not worth 11 bucks. But I would go back for the fried chicken sandwich and the mango iced tea. Tortilla chips a little stale too.

My family visited Tamara's on a Friday night in June. They were not very busy, so we were seated immediately. We were reluctant to visit Tamara's because of the service complaints. The owners stated that they were working to improve the service. The service was in fact good, not excellent but good. Three of us got the pecan grouper, and... More

We had and amazing dinner of shrimp wontons, and Mahi Mahi with grits. It was wonderful. The next day we had some of the very best fish taco's we ever had along with some delicious key lime pie. The service was excellent. We will certainly be back often!! Worth the drive from Panama City just to eat there.

This place was literally two feet from were we parked our car so, hungry as we were, my 9 person family decided to pack into the cafe. First off the cafe is gorgeous and the atmosphere friendly and inviting but it went downhill from there. I ordered a cup of black bean soup and the shrimp quesadilla. The waitress seemed... More

Another excellent experience of dinner at Tamaras . We were a party of five and every dish was complimented. Seafood paella is one of my favourite dishes and this was probably the best I had ever eaten. We have eaten here many times over the years when visiting the area and believe the service is efficient and relaxed. This may... More

We ate here on 5/30/14. I had read other reviews and was a little sceptical ie: slow service , but it was not our experience, sevice was good and the food was very good. I love Latin food and had the Paella, excellent! seafood in every bite. My wife had the prosciutto wrapped Salmon, excellent too. Large portions and the... More
