This is a nice restaurant with cloth napkins and an a la carte menu. That being said its apalach enuff to,wear your shorts and ball cap! Ambiance is nice, bar great and the food was pretty dang good! We had the bisque and crab cake appetizer. Both were tasty. I had the surf and turf. The steak is covered in... More

Had a tough time choosing an entree because there were so many unique offerings.I decided on the red snapper with plantains and black beans. My food was absolutely delicious! The cold beers were delivered promptly, and the food arrived in a decent amount of time.It was a busy Friday night and I had an enjoyable evening dining at Tamara's. A nice... More

The menu items were very unusual (for us) but we were very pleased with our choices (husband had the pork chop entree and I had salmon). We would definitely go back again.

This town close to beach, all is casual dress. But the food and servers are the best. Very unique menu here. Order the Grouper Throat, you will not be disappointed.

We were greeted right away and seated. Ordered a margarita and it was awful. After ordering dinner it took approximately 45 minutes to get our meal and it was not busy. Husband's fried grouper throat was terribly overcooked but the chorizo Mac and cheese accompaniment was really good. My crab stuffed grouper was cooked nicely but the crab was overpowered... More

We had a garlic shrimp appetizer and the pecan crusted grouper. The shrimp was fresh and so delicious. The portion size was very generous. The grouper, while good, didn't quite meet expectations. The crust was a bit soggy and the jalapeno creama didn't bring enough heat for our taste. Service was excellent and the restaurant was clean.

Tamara's has a reasonably priced menu, good service, nice ambience and very fresh food. We only had lunch but it was very very fresh and nice salads. No frills, just good food and service when traveling through Appalachicola on the gulf coast.

Stopped in because the coffee shop next door was closed. Waitresses needed to decide who was taking orders and who was telling/listening what they did last night, Coffee was crap then the creamers were spoiled. We skipped the food and left.

My husband and I were very disappointed by our lunch entrees at this little cafe. I had Thai chicken (which was breaded) over rice with an extremely salty sauce. My husband had fish tacos, which he reported, were not very good (and he is a huge lover of fish tacos) and his side was also salty. Service was average, a... More
