Tamara's has a reasonably priced menu, good service, nice ambience and very fresh food. We only had lunch but it was very very fresh and nice salads. No frills, just good food and service when traveling through Appalachicola on the gulf coast.

Stopped in because the coffee shop next door was closed. Waitresses needed to decide who was taking orders and who was telling/listening what they did last night, Coffee was crap then the creamers were spoiled. We skipped the food and left.

My husband and I were very disappointed by our lunch entrees at this little cafe. I had Thai chicken (which was breaded) over rice with an extremely salty sauce. My husband had fish tacos, which he reported, were not very good (and he is a huge lover of fish tacos) and his side was also salty. Service was average, a... More

Went here with my family of five. Gluten free was not a problem so we were off to a good start! The fish tacos were the best I've ever had. Wow!!! Everyone else enjoyed their food as well. Great food and great service. I definitely recommend this place. We'll be going back for sure when we visit SGI next year!!!

I had the pancakes and they were amazing! The service was good and the food that other people had also looked very tasty. I would visit again if I was ever in the area again!

We asked a waitress at another restaurant for a recommendation, and she raved about Tamara. We stopped in for dinner, and the food was great. The black bean soup is one of the best I have ever had. If we had a week here, we would never be bored with the menu. Good service, too!

We have been coming to Tamara's each year for number of years since it first opened in downtown Apalachicola and this year was no exception. The food is consistently tasty with a nice variety of Chef's specials, a nice wine list and good craft beers. Some of the dishes have a Caribbean feel to them, but not all of them... More

We came on a Friday evening. Hubby had Paella and I had Pecan-crusted Grouper with rice and beans. Our food was really really good. My wine, Sav Blanc from New Zealand, was fantastic. The service was just okay. Slow, somewhat uncaring attitude. Some confusion and inefficiency happening around the restaurant as it got busy. We were never asked if we... More

Discovered this place serendipitously en route to Cape San Blas. We sat on the porch with our dog and our waitress brought out a bowl of cold water for our dog soon after we sat down. We had a fantastic light fare lunch--we ordered fried oyster salad, fried green tomatoes, and a piece of key lime pie. Each dish were... More
