A local recommended this place to us upon a recent visit to Apalachicola. We loved sitting on the covered upstairs deck with a view of the water. Their conch cakes are amazing. It was a pretty busy place on Sunday starting at noon, but the service was still quite good and the prices are reasonable.

Great food, sit outside for great view of the water. I've seen gators and manatees from the top deck while eating dinner, (fortunately not on same night).

I wish I would have gotten a bowl instead of just a cup and skipped the main course. The bisque with the bread dipped in it was wonderful. We ate on the porch over the water with the rain pouring outside- it was pretty cool. My husband got oysters with greens and bacon- he said they were very good.

We live on the coast, fish for what we eat and are excellent seafood cooks; therefore, our expectations for any seafood eatery in this area known as the Oyster Capital of the World had to be high. The oysters were fair but the baked oysters were cooked in a cheese 'way too salty. The service made up for much, however--the... More

Was one of the best restaurants we ate at during a weeklong trip to St. George Island. The restaurant is on the water. It has air-conditioned indoor seating as well as outdoor screened and unscreened eating area. You don't want to miss sitting on the screen porch as the sun sets. The food was excellent, well proportioned and the price... More

When you live in Pensacola, it's hard to want to pay $50 for a few peel and eat shrimp, two bowls of soup, and two beers. But we were bored out of our minds at St. George Island, so off we went to lunch and did just that. View was nice, soup was good, shrimp had too much Old Bay... More

Our 2nd trip back...and loved it just as much. Oysters are freshly shucked and prepared in numerous ways, peel and shrimp that is to die for, and believe it or not - for landlubbers they have a chicken chimichanga that rivals your best Mexican joints. Awesome REAL gumbo with shrimp, alligator, sausage...crab/lobster bisque are great as well. Great location on... More

Went two nights in a row great Mediterranean Oysters to start. The fried shrimp is a must , and the blacken Grouper was excellent . Sat outside watched the wildlife float down the river gator & Manatee . Friendly people working there.

This restaurant is located on the water, and the main dining area is upstairs, with a deck offering a view of the water. If you are not inside the screened portion of the deck, the gulls are a real nuisance. They have oysters prepared many ways, but not fried! I wanted fried oysters so that was a disappointment. Orders are... More
