Balmy breezes, beautiful view of the river, laid back atmosphere, great service and delish food. Cold, fresh draft beer went great with my crab cakes and shrimp at this apalachicola riverside restaurant. We gazed at the water and seagulls while enjoying our Sunday lunch. Clean and friendly. A little too pricey for another visit though on this vacation.

Loved the raw oysters. Fried catfish was terrific. Good selection of draft beers. Hybrid restaurant where you order at the counter and full table service follows. Very friendly staff.

6 of us tried different dishes & were overall satisfied. Very casual & dogs welcome on deck. Fried green beans were very good!!! Shrimp, oysters, mahi mahi & linguini all good but didn't care for the crab cakes. Moderate prices - good value for the money. Supposed to order at counter but since they weren't real busy the waitress took... More

The place is really nice because of its terrace on the water. if you want to see the sunset, this is the place to be. The oyster were of course excellent. The rest of the food was also very good. It is not a upper scale type of restaurant but a family friendly place. The staff was really nice, the... More

We joined some friends for dinner at Up the Creek Raw Bar during our stay on the Cape. We chose to eat outside and enjoyed the view of the bay. The food was very good...the oysters were delicious, the grilled grouper yummy, and the gumbo excellent. We plan to go back for some more gumbo...it was very good with just... More

Try to get a table outside with view onto the water. The food was great. We had some of the best oysters ever. The place is not that easy to find but worth the search.

They have a nice seafood menu at reasonable prices. We had the grilled shrimp basket ($17.00) and the small crab cakes. There is a great river view and an alligator (or crocodile) swam by. Staff was friendly.

Downhill already. Some of the original menu items are gone and others are not what they have been in the past.

Would never have guessed that this place would have sushi and EXCELLENT sushi at that! Service was a bit strange. Order at a counter and then have several food runners and bussers sort of take care of you. Wasn't impressed by that part. Had really good oysters as well. Mullet dip not so good. Very oily.

We ate at Up the Creek Raw Bar on our first night at Cape San Blas. The food was simple and very good. I had the Southern Fella oysters. That is baked oysters topped with collards, bacon and cheese. I guess it's the southern take on Oysters Rockefeller. My brother-in-law ordered the jumbo steamed shrimp and I definitely want those... More
