This place has outstanding oysters, great selection of drinks and a great, relaxed atmosphere with a view of the river. Their food is very good, but I wish they had more fish and other sea food and fried oysters.

We tried Up the Creek at the recommendation of some friends who came in January. They said the shrimp were the best. They were correct. The fried shrimp basket was very good! You get 10 large shrimps. They're cooked perfectly with just the right amount of breeding. We also tried the baked oysters with collard greens and chopped bacon topping.... More

This has become a staple in terms of where to dine for lunch or dinner; oysters, raw and otherwise, grouper sandwich, chef specials, bisque, brussel sprouts, not the way your Mama made them, nice river view, Worth a trip up the creek!

Nice rustic place, upstairs with a view of the river. Much of the seating is ‘outside’ with some of it protected, some not. Pets allowed in the fully-outside part of the seating. The protocol is to order at the counter and they bring it out to you. Lots of ways to cure your oyster cravings (raw or steamed) at very... More

We ordered delicious oysters, shrimp, 2 sides, 1 piece of grouper, and a thai salad. Everything is a la carte and we were surprised when our bill was $80.00 for the 2 of us. You order when you arrive at the counter and they give you a number for them to deliver your meal.

The location is easy to get to ,very fun and the smell of the Gulf was rich. The staff were very friendly and the southern charm was real . Looking out on the water was dreamy !! The seafood bisqis was the best I have ever had . The Raw oysters were just dumped out of the nets and shucked,... More

To start we looked at the reviews and they were more good than bad so we gave it a shot. The concept of walking in the door and having to read a specials board that was in front of the pay your bill line and self serve drinks and condiments and put your order in at the counter on the... More

Found this last year thanks to trip advisor. Totally worth the drive from cape San blas. Returned this year on vacation. Really good food, little bit of a wait. Make sure you get in right line to place order or to pay.

The food and view are great here, but the ordering is a bit strange. You order at the front and then a waitress brings it to your table. Sodas are self serve as is condiments. This arrangement was fine when we went at 2:30 one day for lunch, but caused a pretty big traffic jam near the front doors when... More
