We tried Up The Creek our second day of our stay on St.George Island. Nice roomy place and maybe some other menu items are ok. We had an oyster appetizer, ok but not very plump oysters. I had the conch patties and wife had crab cakes. The conch was ok, however the crab cakes were soggy, and so overly seasoned... More

Hands down best meal in town. The crab cakes are all crab and are seasoned perfectly. The conch patties are fantastic the mango slaw really compliments the conch. The pork egg rolls have a great curry flavor and are huge. The wings were the best wings I've had in a while. They were naked and both the buffalo and tupelo... More

The food was fabulous! Every part was very yummy. The drinks were strong and tasty, the oyster were great and the main course was mouth watering. Loved all of it.

This place has outstanding oysters, great selection of drinks and a great, relaxed atmosphere with a view of the river. Their food is very good, but I wish they had more fish and other sea food and fried oysters.

We tried Up the Creek at the recommendation of some friends who came in January. They said the shrimp were the best. They were correct. The fried shrimp basket was very good! You get 10 large shrimps. They're cooked perfectly with just the right amount of breeding. We also tried the baked oysters with collard greens and chopped bacon topping.... More

This has become a staple in terms of where to dine for lunch or dinner; oysters, raw and otherwise, grouper sandwich, chef specials, bisque, brussel sprouts, not the way your Mama made them, nice river view, Worth a trip up the creek!

Nice rustic place, upstairs with a view of the river. Much of the seating is ‘outside’ with some of it protected, some not. Pets allowed in the fully-outside part of the seating. The protocol is to order at the counter and they bring it out to you. Lots of ways to cure your oyster cravings (raw or steamed) at very... More

We ordered delicious oysters, shrimp, 2 sides, 1 piece of grouper, and a thai salad. Everything is a la carte and we were surprised when our bill was $80.00 for the 2 of us. You order when you arrive at the counter and they give you a number for them to deliver your meal.

The location is easy to get to ,very fun and the smell of the Gulf was rich. The staff were very friendly and the southern charm was real . Looking out on the water was dreamy !! The seafood bisqis was the best I have ever had . The Raw oysters were just dumped out of the nets and shucked,... More
