Stopped in for lunch on a recent visit. Sat in the outside eating deck--warmed with propane heaters, which took off the winter chill. A few local brews on tap; fresh seafood is the draw. Hubby had Mediterranean oysters--said they were pretty good, 2nd best oysters he'd eaten in the area. I had Royal Reds (shrimp) steamed and seasoned with Old... More

Very good food. The process seems kinds of strange but they have perfected the ordering, serving process. I agree with the other reviews about the great oysters being back again in Apalachicola area. The clams are excellent as well. Try the grilled conch cakes as they are very good and different presentation.

The oysters from Apalachacola are touted as being the best in the USA so just had to make the drive down there from Mexico Beach. Yes, all reports were correct... So good in fact that we ordered 2 dozen initially and then splurged on another dozen... We ordered the Parmesean, the Claasic and the Southern Fella - all equally delicious... More

Drove over for lunch from Panama City Beach on a recommendation from NYTimes last year. Not crowded at lunch this time of year; sat outside on the porch with three other groups/couples. Got into a conversation with others about a new movie some had seen. We're not oyster fans, so had crab cakes and mahi-mahi. Very happy with both. Agree... More

Yes, the shrimp, oysters and conch fritters were delicious. BUT we really appreciate that our Frenchie could share the experience on the outside deck!

Had lunch on the porch today overlooking the river. I had the fried shrimp with brussel sprouts as my side. The shrimp was good and the brussel sprouts were excellent. My husband had the Southern Oysters, oysters cooked with greens, Paremesan and bacon bits, truly outstanding! The IPA on draft (Southern Tier) was a very nice IPA. The couple next... More

Try the different types of oysters here - very nice. They have oysters done in some different ways that were outstanding.

I would challenge anyone to find a lousy restaurant in Apalach.... my gosh there are plenty of great places to eat...so don't sweat eatery decisions. Be like us - try as many as possible...!!! You will enjoy many of them.

Dropped in on a busy July 3rd. Place was packed. We squeezed into the overlook room and watched an alligator in the river. Raw oysters were big and fairly priced. Liked the atmosphere. Like the eclectic menu.
