We decided to go out to eat being our last night on the island. We decided to try the city pier on recommendation from a friend. We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere along with the food. The only thing I didn't like is that they didn't serve alcoholic drinks besides wind and beer. But, besides that the food and all was... More

We holiday in Bradenton (just off Anna Maria) regularly. We enjoy the City Pier because of it's informality, fresh food and good value. We often have to queue but overall it's worth it. Other than the good food there is a great open air bar at the end of the pier where you can see dolphins, schools of rays, pelicans... More

We were planning on going somewhere else for dinner, but wound up at Anna Maria City Pier. We opted to eat at one of the couple outside tables between the restaurant and the bar. They had a guy playing guitar outside which was nice. The view was amazing- right at sunset. It was fun to sit, eat, and watch all... More

We stopped here for lunch during an all day cruise. We were very happy with the view. The service was a bit slow, and not all that congenial but not rude in any way. The fish tacos were among the best I've ever had. The sangria is good- but not amazing. Next time I will just order a cold beer.... More

We were quite shocked by the rude service at this bar. We were too slow to tell the bar tender to take a running jump off the end of the pier and ended up paying over the odds for drinks which we couldn't then enjoy because of the extremely rude service. Not much else you could say, really.

waited a long time for more tea and when I had to ask again she said she had many takeout orders to finish. this was around 5pm and there were many other servers that were standing around that she could have asked to help. we felt like we were an inconvenience to her. well she tried to be drippy sweet... Always a favorite spot to eat when visiting Anna Maria Island. Great local flavor. The Grouper sandwich is excellent. And the view is is fantastic. Kids will love watching all the fishermen fishing off the pier, the local birds diving into the water for a meal, and even a dolphin or two.

The food was not good and the bar area was covered with the owner doing work and the waitress leaning over playing on her phone. Also a cast of characters that hang around the place to fish and eat. The one guy came in the eating area with a bed sheet around him. Not going back!

The food was about what you'd expect. I went there for the experience and I think it was worth it due to that. I had a good time

We had a nice table with a good view. The service was excellent and the food was average. We were there for the early bird and had the shrimp. Price was reasonable, the shrimp were your basic fare, nothing to jump up and down about. Place was more touristy than a great place to eat. Better places for seafood, Cortez... More
