Great Grouper

We stopped for lunch on our first day on Anna Maria Island. What a fun stop...and the grouper was delicious! I had a salad with grouper on it and my husband had the grouper sandwich. Paired with a couple of Yuengling beers (which we don't have in the midwest) and it's a perfect way to start... read more

Views are by far better than other places on the bay side. Food is excellent and service quick, much better than expected in fact food was Better than many of the other restaurants tried on the island. I had the pasta with the mezzo mezzo sauce, half marinara and half Alfredo a great combination and a first for me.

We were visiting the island to see family and we went to the pier for the view and dinner. The grouper sandwich was small, overpriced, and came with no sides. Seared tuna was over cooked and sloppily cut, and they forgot the sides. The other two seafood dinners were also overcooked and overpriced. The server was rude and got angry... More

We had the best seat in the house overlooking the water but the food was just OK. We both had seafood (Scallops/Shrimp) which was probably a mistake considering we live in New Brunswick and are used to the very best seafood.

My wife went to the restaurant on 4-14-15 and ordered Calamari. This restaurant was our all time favorite for Calamari. It was always plentiful and prepared perfectly. WRONG....we are not sure if we have had an ownership change or what, but it was horrible. My wife ordered her usual Grouper sandwich and the fish was good but the coleslaw was... More

We had an early dinner at City Pier in April, and being right on the water made the experience enjoyable and memorable. The food and service were good, and we were lucky to arrive early before the crowds came. Atmosphere is VERY casual, and we got our food very quickly.

Although a resident of Anna Maria for some 5 years we had never visited the City Pier Restaurant, so we decided to try it for dinner we arrived around 6.30 and there was about 10 people in the whole place, to be honest the food was forgettable, the service, well just let say the waitress thought she was doing us... On the walk out on the pier to get to the restaurant, we saw a manatee! We arrived about 5:00. The tables outside were taken, but we were seated immediately inside. Ordered a burger with no bun (gluten sensitivity), but it came with a bun. The food was good and watching people fish from the pier was entertaining.

We stopped at the City Pier for lunch. We were seated right away in the outside area. The tables were close outside. The food was fine (Grouper Sandwich) but nothing great. As we were finishing up our lunch a singer began to play music. We stayed a bit and listened--it was relaxing (there was a bar if you wanted a... More

Long check in process...line just to leave a name. We were seated sooner than expected. Live entertainment on the pier made the time fly. Dinner was great. Fresh air...over the water...live entertainment..it was hard to go wrong.
